In a strange way, this could be good news for them. Basically, they’re getting the whole bin fire completely out of the way in one season so that they can start afresh on an even keel in League One next season and go again.
It contrasts to the Luton situation a few years back when they had multiple points deductions over 2 or 3 seasons (?) which meant 3 relegations.
I wouldn’t mind betting that, if they could, Wednesday won’t be appealing this. Especially because (obvs.) they get 3pts back automatically on Jan 4th.... [Post edited 1 Dec 14:57]
