Both things can be true. We're all very happy with the 3 points but equally there were a few underperforming players out there

He was shocking. It takes quite a lot for our cultured manager and creative midfielder to get riled and both of them had a go at the ref at full time for not giving Madsen a free kick at the end when a player came in at him from behind when just outside the pen at the end of the match.

I’ve given up reading these threads during the game. There was one recently where we went a goal down early on (oh the temerity) and it was all doom and gloom, players and managers getting pelters and we ended up winning.
| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:36 - Feb 21 with 2202 views | Jigsore | Well done Rangers! Bizarre play from Hull for the last 10 minutes mind, completely disjointed What is it they say? Lose your home games and win your away games? | | | |

| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:37 - Feb 21 with 2171 views | dutch | Read this board at half time and assumed we must be 4-0 down with at least one sent off. But no, we were drawing 1-1 with one of the top teams who we then go on to beat 3-1. Bloody hell some of you lot are ridiculous, coating off players, picking scapegoats, predicting doom. Good win Well done my team.. | | | |

The fact we win 3-1 and that the players are livid at the end tells you everything you need to know about that last decision. Great win. So happy for Kone and Bennie.

I suspect some are happier when their negative world view gets reinforced by a good old defeat. Too much moaning, too much picking on a young group of players.

| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:31 - Feb 21 by Damo1962 | Agree .Sounds like the right result. Think Hull are in a false position, and will soon be overtaken by others. Enjoy your afternoon amigos 😁👍 |
Bar a couple of teams everyone in this league is a bit sht including us. The league position suggests that Hull are quite a lot less sht than others. And if they've been winning all year and looked sht today then we played a part in making that the case

Yep, fully agree I thought Edwards was man of the match, made countless interceptions, and looked really solid with Jimmy. GREAT news for the next few years of the club. And JCS back too ! (for now) Second half Kolli got back in it, Saito a threat, and Kone never stopped running and deserved his goal. This is why I don't comment during matches, we all get a bit too passionate and say some things that look pretty dumb come the final whistle (include myself in that) Cmon you Rs!! Fooken textbook we went and win "Every time I think I am out...they pull me back in"

Don’t think we’d have predicted that at the beginning of the season, even with the points deduction. Only three points from the magic 50 points. In Feb. Surely we should be happy with that after the previous two seasons.
| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:45 - Feb 21 with 1871 views | Big_Mac | We’d be in a playoff spot if we’d held on against Wrexham or not lost to Blackburn. Such a wide open league and all it takes is a run of 2 or 3 games to be right back in the mix. Tough few games ahead but if we want to be up there we got to get the results and I’m deciding to be optimistic for once (until we get smashed on Tuesday then relegation is back on the cards). | | | |
| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:46 - Feb 21 with 1857 views | CornieRanger | This team more than any other takes a completely perverse pleasure in doing exactly the opposite of what you think they are going to do. Jekyll and Hyde eat your heart out. | | | |

| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:52 - Feb 21 with 1681 views | Wegerles_Stairs | I like that Bennie took that shot on. Changed the game. Really think that's what has been missing recently - a bit of devil may care. I've not been Stephan's biggest fan but he really has been put in an invidious position with all the injuries, exemplified today by an out-of-form Saito being literally our only fit winger. Very interesting to see Hoos comment on that this week. We simply can't have a repeat next season, whether the guy is working in W12, Dubai or on the moon. | | | |

| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:54 - Feb 21 with 1621 views | rbee | Rollercoaster Rangers, awful one week and great the next. Go figure. Thoroughly deserved win, we worked very hard, got better and better as the game went on wearing Hull down, showing far more attacking intent than the home team. Great strike and confidence booster for Bennie. Thank goodness Richard tucked away his third chance, his confidence would have been shot if he had missed all three. Place your bets as to which Rangers will turn up on Tuesday night. Urrrrssss! | | | |
| A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread on 14:54 - Feb 21 with 1608 views | numptydumpty | Fantastic Could not have seen that coming, but deserved it on the second half showing. All hail Daniel Bennie. Fabulous hit and pleased for Kone. The two misses coild have haunted him a little, but deserved his goal also for his non stop determination. As Forrest Gump once said famously. "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going get." You seriously don't. You Rrr's. [Post edited 21 Feb 14:55]
