| Summer transfer rumours 2026 on 16:41 - Apr 12 by bosh67 | James is on loan to Leicester from Rennes so he's been sent there to get a season under his belt to return to his parent club. Brannagan will be 30 next month. He's an excellent footballer but doesn't really fit the recruitment age plan. Unless say both Field and Hayden leave. |
Rumour is Leicester have an option to buy at €5m on their side. Usually the player signs a shadow contract so, its all agree should Leicester exercise the option. So, its all preagreed. However how smart was James agent? Did they put in a clause that if Leicester is relegated the player can block the move? Interesting as he is their best player this season so, they will spend that Prem monies on him, but can he reject the move? If so, he is then likly to go for double that at least. Regardless of their monies sitruation they will buy him if he cannot block the move, as even if its dire, they could buy the player but agree with another club that this club can take him for €8m, instantly getting money for him. As long as the player is on the deal, there is nothing Rennes can do about it.

Did his hamstring within about 5 minutes of signing with Norwich in January, so he would fit in very well with us.

| Summer transfer rumours 2026 on 02:04 - Apr 18 with 4629 views | numptydumpty | I think if this waa a deal, we managed to do, would be a real coup and some may be put off due to hia injury issues, but think he could have a very high ceiling in terms of potential. However, bringing him in, is a risk as he is unproven and would be in contention with Larkeche for the first choice who ia also unproven. RND is the safe option. Who knows ??? | |

I really hope it's a permanent deal because if it's a loan, that would technically make him a rent boy! [Post edited 18 Apr 5:04]

| Summer transfer rumours 2026 on 13:57 - Apr 19 with 3881 views | padstow | Perhaps it's not just players we're looking to get in this summer? We're apparently eyeing a Brazilian manager, Filipe LuÃs, who was recently fired from Flamengo but was considered one of their most successful managers in their recent history! https://sportwitness.co.uk/exc | | | |

Interesting find. That feels very bizarre. All the public messaging from the board has been that they are happy with this season, not that it has been a disappointment (obvs they're not going to criticise the manager publicly, but not even disappointment with league position). So either this isn't true, or Stephan might move on, and this is a backup plan.

Good find. Apparently Filipe Luis likes possession football and playing out from the back: https://totalfootballanalysis. So he fits the preferred Nourry house style. Which JS clearly doesn't. For me that would be a mistake and a backward step. If we were to bin off JS and revert to possession ball again because of CN's stubbornness then it had damn well better work because if it doesn't CN's position will become untenable. | Summer transfer rumours 2026 on 14:48 - Apr 19 with 3721 views | aston_hoop | Can't tell these days if that's agent talk (probably, given the Boro link and the fact they have literally the perfect manager to finish top 2 next season) or the club putting the feelers out with a soft leak (less-likely but not impossible) [Post edited 19 Apr 14:49]

Played for Chelscum and was sacked by Flamengo because he’d been having talks with BlueCo who own the Scum
| Summer transfer rumours 2026 on 22:52 - Apr 19 with 3377 views | numptydumpty | The Brazilian manager interest seems like spurious tittle tattle to me If it was true and JS doesnt fit the CN mould then that would be a second consecutive season where we have had a half decent manager to fall out of favour, despite producing a reasonable job performance overall. If anyone needs any gardens to be attended to in W12 anytime soon, watch this space !!! [Post edited 19 Apr 22:55]

Almost as ridiculous as suggesting a Coupe de France winner would want to manage QPR :-)
