James is on loan to Leicester from Rennes so he's been sent there to get a season under his belt to return to his parent club.

Interesting as he is their best player this season so, they will spend that Prem monies on him, but can he reject the move? If so, he is then likly to go for double that at least.
Regardless of their monies sitruation they will buy him if he cannot block the move, as even if its dire, they could buy the player but agree with another club that this club can take him for €8m, instantly getting money for him. I think if this waa a deal, we managed to do, would be a real coup and some may be put off due to hia injury issues, but think he could have a very high ceiling in terms of potential.
However, bringing him in, is a risk as he is unproven and would be in contention with Larkeche for the first choice who ia also unproven.
RND is the safe option.

That feels very bizarre. All the public messaging from the board has been that they are happy with this season, not that it has been a disappointment (obvs they're not going to criticise the manager publicly, but not even disappointment with league position).

The Brazilian manager interest seems like spurious tittle tattle to me
If it was true and JS doesnt fit the CN mould then that would be a second consecutive season where we have had a half decent manager to fall out of favour, despite producing a reasonable job performance overall.
