And does everything with a smile that makes them hard to be mad at for longer than 15 seconds. Have many reservations, but he’s a huge foil for Burrell which might be worth it in games like this. |  | | |

Agree, but I think he could have been more proactive in trying to create chances himself. Felt like too often whenever he got the ball he was just looking to find a teammate and pass it on. Maybe a confidence thing, and not the end of the world, and still feel like he had a very good game regardless. |  | | |

I thought about this during tonight’s match. Their finishing and coordination is very similar but in terms of work rate and attitude Lloyd is a million times better. |  |

I think he's starting to look like a real real player. He's visibly improving his all round game and his pace and physique are top rate at this level. |

Keeper pulled off a§ good save to stop him scoring run his back side off and created a few chances for others tonight , I’d start him on sat with Burell up front chair behind him feedin both of them .
Won some good headers as well he’ll get a few for us when he settles in to the team if he’s given the chance |  |

I’m pretty critical of him but I wouldn’t go that far. He turned his defender beautifully on the edge of the box but then couldn’t hit the target from 6 yards out. That one bit of play sort of sums him up. | |

Absolutely. Got stuck in, not afraid to have a row with the oppo centrebacks, dragged people all over the place creating space.
I like his dog-in-the-playground approach. Even if he never makes it, he's still doing what I would have run over my granny to do. Fair play to him. |
I wish he could take the last touch into the box with his left foot when dribbling at pace. Unfortunately because he can only move it with his right he always ends up going to the far right of the box and shooting from a difficult angle or having to pass.
If I was his coach I’d get him practicing that one thing because I think it would make such a difference and open up better opportunities for him. |  | | |

Just watched the winning goal again and your post is spot on Nicole look at Burrell taking it first with his left at full speed then moving it with right to stay in stride and bury it sinply beautiful.
Alfie is always so out of control he either panics or just does not have the skill yet to keep in stride and stay composed to slide it home .
But he has serious pace and thats half the battle plus the kid has heart he will do |  | | |

Agreed. He was superb, his all round game was fantastic, save for a couple of loose passes that he will learn from. Deserved a goal. [Post edited 3 Sep 3:36]

It’s a tricky one for me because there’s a lot to like about him.
I don’t think he’s technically good enough to make it long term as a champ regular but that doesn’t mean I don’t value what he brings to the table.
The problem for me is im never confident in a goal scoring situation that he will score (and nor is he).
Having said that he’s made some chances for himself tonight so if he did improve his finishing he’d be a more viable long term option.
Can’t deny the combo of him an Burrell gave Cardiff problems though….

Was gonna add never seen devon white cover that much ground so quickly either . he brings more to the team than any of the other options , pace and being a righ pain in the arse , if fit he starts sat for me, he also creates space for burrell to operate better in
, he could have scored one last night bit for a decent save by the keeper at the near post , and blazed one over from a bad angle as well. hes like a loveable puppy up front all legs and no idea at time where he going or come from | |
