I think you’re right with the first one except Mbengue will start not Lamptey to keep him from overplaying. He might come on in the second half though.
Another point is that Smtyh snd Poku are better defensively than Vale and Saito which is why they may have been saved for this match to provide a bit more cover against Middlesbrough. |
Thanks Nix - I think you are right I am just worried about Mbengue as although going forward has looked good. He still has been suspect defensively.

Lamptey Kamara amd Burrell (he was out on his feet) won't start imo. Agree that Poku and Smyth should occupy the flanks
You know I think we should not worry too much abiut how good Boro are and just go for it. If the boot was on the other foot and we were facing our 2nd long journey in a few days, we would have already thrown in the towel and whinge aboit all the odds being stacked against us.
