Strange chant for a player
Not prudish and Woke is too much these days, but whats Posh Spices private areas got to add to any kind of humourish chant when the aim of the chant is to give praise to a decent player.
Its not really that funny, which is how you could justify it. Sounds like a chant that pre pubescent boys might find amusing with no real ability to understand why. It is disrespectful to adult women though and just a bit weird.
And If its the younger lads that sing this, thought they would use a celebrity in their early twenties. So its quite odd too.
But i guess when analysing it, just ask any woman if they find it amusing and not degrading. Think nearly all would find it offensive.
Hope we find a better song for Dennis. Think he could do well for us.

I always felt incredibly bad for Scott Donnelly coming through the ranks. Young kid just starting to make a few first team appearances and that's the song that your fans come up with

Strange how some beers have more effect than others of similar gravity. Dogbolter always seemed like a shortcut to oblivion to me and surprised it was “only” 6%. ESB has a similar effect.
It's been many a year since I drank the stuff, but I'm sure it was about 9%

ESB is proper loopy juice - had a few pints of it in The Ship on Wardour Street before a gig at the Astoria (RIP). I barely recall anything about the gig...
I've got two kids, oldest is a girl, 8, youngest is a boy, 5.
They both LOVED the world cup. They both know loads of QPR songs, and have grown up wearing the kits. I've taken them to a few of the women's games and they had a brilliant time. I've offered to take them to the Development Squad when they next play at Hanwell.
They've asked me a few times if they could come to a men's first team game this season and I've said 'maybe', but I don't think I can bring myself to let them come. I just don't want either of them, but particularly my daughter, exposed to this sort of song.
I guess a lot of folk would think 'good' as they're not old enough yet, but I'm not looking to protect them from every rude word or the visceral anger of the crowd. Just the neanderthal misogyny which we can surely move past.
Took all mine from those ages, one of them now takes her daughter who’s 8, I just told them you’re going to hear stuff that your mother wouldn’t approve of, what you hear in the ground stays in the ground and don’t repeat it or you won’t be allowed to come again.

I remember one man violently calling one of the opposition players the 'C' word, no not Chelsea - the other C word, but he seemed so angry like he was going to burst. Not great for 8 year old me to witness
But I remember then asking my dad, why does that man come here, he doesnt seem to enjoy watching it much.....
i now continually ask myself this question, week after week after week.........

They will see/hear far worse online or at school
It's only a song which won't be sung around the ground so I doubt they will even hear it and even if they do I repeat it's only a song !!!

The club clearly have a responsibility to step in and lay down the law here, and for the West London is wonderful one. Same as they would for racist chants. Not acceptable in this day and age and just f*cking unpleasant for any female fans.

So hello Dennis Cirkin The Nourry plan is working He isn’t Ziyad Larkeche He isn’t Morgan Fox He’ll drive the women crazy With his hair like Milanese And instead of passing sideways He’ll be running at your box

I always find the carbon copy chants embarrassing, even the Kamara one which it seems as though we're the first set of fans to ever chant that and congratulate ourselves... The Cirkin one is dreadful. How about something more wholesome like a take on the Human League's 'Don't you want me'???
"Dennis.... Dennis Cirkin He wouldn't be at Rangers If his hamstring wasn't hurting"
Which is why I'll never be invited into the nose-candied chant producing elite... I'll keep plugging away however "all the words to all the songs" and all that

I've also thought a take on Territorial Pi££ings by Nirvana would work nicely for an Mbengue chant...
"You can't get away from Mbengue, Mbengueeeeeeeeey" (on repeat).
But no, we singlehandledly thought of the zombie chant ad nauseum..

I've always thought we should celebrate Jimmy Dunne by singing his name to the chorus of 'Billy Hunt' by the Jam. Ends with a thoroughly enjoyable 'Jimmy Du-huh-hun'.

The cheeky, suggestive sexual references ("drive the women crazy" / "running at your box") captures the very essence of the Dubliners á la "Seven Drunken Nights"
It'll be banned by RTE of course but that's no bad thing.
