Seny. Yes he’s had a few wobbles this season. All goalkeepers do but the way people magnify his occasional errors annoys me no end. A lesser keeper and we would be bottom three now not in May as it’s looking. The bloke is fking brilliant. He pulled a save off Saturday that was p h e n o m e n a l.
“Ooh he spilled the ball for the third one against Blackpool” Maybe he did, or maybe he had both hands on the ball and it was a foul. Lots wrong at QPR at the moment but if you’re slagging Seny off you’re a fcuking tart.
Blonde-haired blue-eyed Joanna Lumley … game after game … crap … losing points … but just needs a bit of confidence so let’s persist. Our current goalkeeper … let’s wait for a mistake and knock the fekking confidence out of him.
Any human being that can stay sane and perform with that ‘defence’ in front of them deserves credit.

Depends which part of the season we look at.
Up until November it was Willock by a country mile and to think we were discussing a sell value of £10-£15m.
Since December.............. I really don't know. Our defence capitulated, our midfield lost its creativity and every player to a man lost their confidence.

Osman Kakay, he has been the most consistent of the players so far this season, and the most improved player. Shows the same same drive and heart as Chair & Dykes and has kept his spirit when sitting behind Laird & Paal waiting for his chances. |  |

Sam Field by a distance. Has done his job better than any one else and been played in multiple positions. Seny has made a lot of mistakes and his distribution has gone down hill. He’s also deteriorated at handling crosses. |  | | |

While I'd probably opt for Field, and do think Seny has been marginally less brilliant than last season (understandably so given the chaos that reigns immediately in front of him), I share your despair Danny at people waiting to pounce the moment he slips a jot below. the sky high standards he has set himself.
As Kensal Riser says on the Chair thread, "Digging out not only one of our best players but also the player in the squad who always gives it everything he's got. People are losing their minds."
Same with Willock. This boy was sensational and surely destined for a Prem move. Then injury struck (again) and has clearly f***ed with his mind. Yet some conspiracy theorists think it's all to do with angling for a move, winding down his contract etc.
There is so much wrong with the club right now. Lots to be legitimately angry about. Plenty of players to dig out if that makes you feel better.
But for me the problem doesn't rest with these three. |  |

It's funny how people view games and players differently.
I'd rate Seny somewhere between couldn't save a stamp and below average this season, Whereas others have him down as our best player (granted, not a lot of competition)
Not saying you or I are wrong, just interesting how as fans we see things.

No we wouldn't.
I know we are playing dreadfully but let's not get silly.
Karl Ready was an awful player for QPR and would be no improvement on the disorganised chaotic nonsense that is our current defence.
Let's not forget he was a key part of the team last time we were relegated from this leven (I think he might've been captain as well?)
People often blame the forwards for our relegation from the Premier League in 1996, saying that the useless old crock Hateley and the inexperienced youngsters Gallen & Dichio were just not up to filling the gap left by Les's departure. And that's fair comment.
But people overlook the massive part that Ready played in our relegation. He was directly responsible for so many goals that season with absolutely pısspoor defending.
For a further indication of just what an appalling player he was, look at what happened when he left QPR.
He went to Motherwell, didn't last a season up there and within a year of leaving QPR he couldn't even hold down in a place in the first XI at Aldershot in the Conference!! |  | | |

Sam Field by a long way for me. I think Seny has been fine, not as good as previous seasons, but the 10 in front of him have been consistently terrible and his distribution has suffered due to changes of managers trying to get players to do different things and us ending up having no clarity at all.
Sam's been consistent, never shirked, worked very hard, been fit and actually been good in almost all games. Don't think he'll be here next season when the fire sale starts, because he's one player who can hold his head up. |  |
