I liked the way he took his penalty one time and those 2 lovely goals he scored before he got injured.
A bit cruel that he had kind of won over the fans with those goals then gets injured when he got his chance have to hope he gets it going again |  | | |

Call me soft but I think we're being a bit harsh on him, feels like a similar situation with Madsen - new country, new league, etc. It takes time to adapt. He scored two great goals against Cardiff, looked to be turning things round and then got a bad injury.
I'm not writing him off yet. |  |

I must confess my head was turned as he'd played for his county in the Euro's and had scored a few in the Swiss leagues.
Those were the club puff pieces on signing.
However he is so patently unsuited to the game at this level or indeed at any level in this Country that clearly nobody actually watched him in any depth whatsoever.
I just do not see him having a Madsen like turnaround.
His bar is at a hugely lower level as he has zero technical ability, no physique and a terrible attitude.
This is another really, really, really expensive dud.
Who would sign him after a season where 50% lost due to injury and the following season out on loan in a poor division he hardly played, was disruptive and scored zero goals.
Blame aportioned to Nourryvirus, Belk and Marti (if we are to believe these signings are "comittee based".... yeah, righty-oh) |  |

Have to hope for a miracle when he returns. Given how short of strikers we've been this season (somehow), it would be great if he could find form next pre-season.

Any striker can score two great goals even way down the non league chain.
He scored a brilliant hattrick in a preseason friendly, where he is now, no crowd, and then since has zero goals and zero assists also this entire competitive season.
He is not a 19 year old either. He is 27 years old, so quite advanced in career terms for football.
For him needing a year to settle in, in a new country, every time he moves. Sorry, not buying that one. Even if he is unsettled living in a foreign land, that does not mean he cant perform at his supposed standard for his football team, whilst he is unsettled.
Madsen, perhaps was more Marti's style didnt suit him well, but last seven or eight games of previous season, he was showing some decent form.

Kone and Celar up front together. The pace and athleticism of those two will put the fear of god into Championship defences next season. Can’t wait. 😜 | | | |
