Don't know how to feel about this. On one hand I am happy that it is finally resolved and on the other I am angry that we have apparently accepted an offer which was on the table 3 weeks ago. Whi knows what the delays were about but £45mm or £40m after Spurs is good business. Now the acid test of if the Yanks invest in squad or bank the money for exit. My guess is we'll spend £20m on one player, another speculative £5m plus (hopefully) a quality loanee when the big boys finish signings and realise their squads are too big. |  | | |

Everton offered £40m because we valued him at £50m. By "we" I mean the Yanks, not Jenkins.
