It was mentioned that his name is Mohammad. Therefore he fits the BBC bill etc..Clearly not the worst of racist remarks (although there are no good racist remarks)..But his name being Muslim has nothing to do with him being a biased @sshole. He's a Cardiff fan. end of. If he was White Welsh people wouldn't have mentioned anything about his name or culture obviously because it's irrelevant. So why does it matter that he's half Pakistani? |
His ethnicity has nothing to do with him being arrogant, a Cardiff fan etc. It may have something to do with him getting as far with the BBC as he has. I’m pretty sure that was the context. Not ‘he’s a twà t because his surname is Mohammed’ as you seem to have taken it.
I’m not normally one for conspiracy theories, but he really isn’t that good. His face certainly fits there for whatever reason. It quite likely isn’t profiling, but I can understand people jumping to that conclusion when he appears to be punching well above his weight with his job. |  | | |

I don't know. But I'll bet the BBC have a target for a diverse workforce, all I'm suggesting is he fills two of those target boxes, because he is BAME and he speaks Welsh. I have no idea what his religion is, and never said I did. That's not racist in any way more than these targets are.
For that reason he probably isn't going anywhere as was suggested he could be, even though he is a biased and pretty poor presenter.
