Let's be honest both him and routs are far better options than Mkay and asoro, so he probably has just cause to have the hump, has to be an appearences/money issue there somewhere but could be wrong.
It's all a bit mental as I thought the whole point of him and routs having long deals was so that they would be security/back up for us should we sell off assets and end up in the championship.

Lets face it, giving Dyer and Routs extended deals was a bad move, two amongst many. Just give them free transfers so we can all move on. Can't we accept no transfer fee but saving on wages just as part of the rebuilding process.
Same with Wilf, if he's never going to play for us again, why hold out for money when he'll just see his contract out if no one wants to pay owt for him.
If it comes to it maybe even accept paying part of their contract up to save money in the longer term?

The problem is no one is willing to come close to matching their wages. Not enough to waive any transfer fees we'd have to pay off most of their remaining contract to get them to leave, or at least subsidise their wages heavily when they're gone. | | | |

I think the club would happily give the three of them plus Narsingh free transfers, just why would they accept what’s bound to be a wage cut? Not to speak for any of them, but they could well be at the stage of their careers where long term financial security is more important than playing every week | | | |

Difference is that Routs could still cut it in this league like his Wigan performance proved. Nath is by far more of a fans favourite and therefore better thought of but is now a busted flush. |  |
