Wales v England Rugger 20:33 - Feb 17 with 7807 viewsunion_jack

Well chaps, does anyone give Wales a chance next week against the men in white?

Personally, I see a comfortable win for England. I watched the raise of hands on Scrum V tonight and couldn’t believe how many thought Wales would win.

So, head not heart, Wales or England.

Non rugger fans need not contribute 👍

Why does Owen Farrell sound like a Lancastrian who should be sat in his chair in the front room, in his slippers, smoking his pipe, listening to the radio and reading his paper, sometime around 1940 🤣

Not bad guess lads. Wales +4. Remember this was before the bookies put their handicaps up. Now follow my tip and get on wales. I just can’t see them losing. England won’t get the freedom they have had in the first 2 game.

I hope not. I’m visiting family in England this weekend, and I wouldn’t want to have to face gloating English after the match. Glad to say the family are mainly Welsh. 👍

Strange, but I haven’t noticed too many gloating around here. 😁
Well, maybe one or two. 😂

Well theres no doubt theyve gone up a couple of levels in the last 12 months but have they peaked too early or was this just a blip?

In the 12 months before this years 6 Nations, England had played 13 and lost 7 of them. including finishing 5th in the 6 Nations in 2018.

Their excellent form in the first 2 games of this years 6 Nations was the surprise. Although they did well in the Autumn internationals.

In the second half it really was a thrashing. As soon as we got in front there was only one winner. Ingerpop had nothing to offer at all. Wonderboy Farrell shat his pants.

Very true.. but their performance levels against SH teams has definitely improved. Very close games. Tho to be fair, the North/South gap appears to be closing.

Wales can win for sure. History shows form means nothing. We've beaten them when they've been red hot favourites coming down to Cardiff.
2013 , 30-3 we beat them when they were supposed to murder us.
1999 33-32 when experts thought we'd get 60 put on us.

1984 , 1988 , 2005, 2008, 2015 world cup.....never given a hope but WON.

ALL ON THE DAY!!!!

As long as we don't kick straight to their wingers we have every chance

Warmed the cockles of my little Welsh heart, that did, here in Espana.

Am I going to give it large in the walking football group on friday (99% English) or what? Getting my six foot Welsh flag out as we speak....

Long way to go.

We could beat Scotland and draw with Ireland and England would still win the championship.

Plus the gerrymandered fixtures ensure England kick off last on the final day.

England are still odds on to win the championship.

But all that matters this morning is that we beat them yesterday.

If someone said lose yesterday and win the championship or win and lose the championship I'd take yesterday's result.

If it’s not a grand slam or triple crown, I couldn’t give a shit about the championship. Bonus points are a joke.

Is there actually any point in having Italy in the competition? It does make a mockery, especially with the bonus points.
