Totally agree Dar, well out of order.
Any news from Trust imminent on 18:05 - Jan 27 with 1743 views | BillyChong | To be fair, this would probably be avoided if the trust took a minute to regularly update supporters that there is understandably no news due to what sound like very unfortunate circumstances. A simple locked stickied thread would do the job.

So why have they updated you in such detail, that it makes you feel sick? Closed doors and whispers all over again is it? That's not being insensitive, it's against you flapping your gums like that. Either they tell everyone (the members) or they tell nobody Dar.

They haven’t. Someone at the club told me and when I asked a member of the Trust Board if it was true and they replied that they couldn’t possibly comment on that. From their reply I took it as being true. So just to clarify chopsy ‘they’ haven't told me anything.

Aye there we are then. You've got form for posting stuff like this, if you "know" something, keep it to yourself.

I am keeping it to myself and don’t be jealous because I know people tell me things.

I guess that due to legal advice we aren't told details but there does seem to be some proceedings even if not including legal reps. From the Trust minutes for November Shareholding/Legal report 5. PS outlined the discussions with Leigh Dineen and Martyn Morgan. https://www.swanstrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Supporters-Trust-Board-M Edit And December Shareholding/Legal report 1. Progress remains slow, with the end of year leading to holidays taken by those we’re dealing with. Expect to hear more in January. Goodman Derrick LLP have provided the QC with our previous drafting response and the possibility of extending our current relationship with them is under review. While there is no explicit time limit for us to have formally commenced action, the Trust want to make progress on this quickly. AG reaffirmed the need to keep pushing the QC https://www.swanstrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Supporters-Trust-Board-M [Post edited 27 Jan 2020 19:09]

Of course, but of course... where is the communication. Its OK knowing something but if the majority don't, what do you expect.

Any news from Trust imminent on 20:12 - Jan 27 with 1389 views | Garyjack | I have to say, that since the debacle of the first vote to accept the offer, and what came after including Phil's resignation, i'm very surprised that he's not staying on now to see the legal action through to it's conclusion. If it's for personal matters then i fully understand, if not then it seems he's turning out to be the Trust boards very own Kevin Keegan!

This was covered in the AGM this evening. I will be there as part of the legal case and supporting with that but in terms of the board its time for fresh ideas, fresh direction and now is the right time to let that happen because we have set the legal wheels in motion . It also allows someone to lead who isn't as heavily involved in the legal action which I think is essential for the Trust to flourish

Well done Phil, but at the time of my post that's all i was aware of was 'PS to step down in the summer.' From Neathjack. It's EXCB for me, I know it's Brexit week, but i think the Trust need to go to the hard left.

I’m more than happy to confirm right now that I won’t be putting myself forward as chair.
