Ripoff 23:18 - Apr 29 with 2432 views | owainglyndwr | Companies & People trying to take advantage while we are in lock down. EBay & Amazon sellers for instance charging high prices for Paints , Fence paint , Garden furniture preserve . Anything really that is not easy to get hold of, some things 6 times their normal price. These companies & people should be named and shamed

You've got key workers on one side absolutely busting a gut and quite literally risking their lives to keep society going, and then on the other you have these parasitic scumbags absolutely taking the piss. String them up outside their businesses and homes or stick them is stocks so we can pelt them with rotten fruit. Publish their names and addresses in local and national newspapers.

Think back to that weekend in march when Wales were due to play Scotland in the rugby.....baked beans were already out of stock, drief yeast also.......the supermarket bosses could see larger than usual buying patterns form individuals especially big roll.....didn't give a fúck then did they?? The supermarkets were probably just very slow to react. You can't expect checkout operators to police people's buying unless they have been instructed to do so by their management and management only responds to feedback from their people at the sharp end of the transactions who are probably not obliged to provide that feedback as part of their responsibilities.

Hang on, you know how many "suits" walk about the supermarkets whilst the shelf fillers and tillers do the graft. They were blinded by pound signs and gave no thought to the future customer of did little to support the grafters. A cynic might say the supermarket bigwigs were happy to see a surge in profits. Nonetheless it's good to see a profiteer get the finger.

Spent a couple of hours on Monday trawling the net (inc screwfix) for 20l of Sandtex but getting the colour you want is scarce AF. A few overpriced brilliant whites about but thats it. Managed to get the colour I wanted from https://rabart.co.uk/ in Cwmdu at the correct price although it took them 3 days to get it in to mix.

Ripoff on 10:35 - Apr 30 with 2035 views | Joe_bradshaw | Of course people trying to sell paint and stuff at six times the normal price are scum. It takes a special kind of idiot to pay that much though when you can get it from Wickes and other places at their normal prices plus a bit for delivery if you can’t click and collect. If no one pays rip off prices they won’t exist for long.

I agree to an extent but most store policies are decided by head or regional offices and not unilaterally by store managers but will take into account suggestions and feedback from store managers who are mainly in place to make sure head office's marketing strategies are correctly implemented. It just makes the whole process slower than on the ground decision making. Don't forget, a store manager is judged by the store's turnover.

It's a bargain really, even comes with an avatar of a club legend. There's a bunch of righties that'll think you're a tvvat when you come to use it, but that's just a minor drawback
