No Cato...that's even worse.....It's up there with the sad, lonely International Politics lecturer in his late 40's that used to stick out like a sore thumb at our student discos in Aber back in the late 80's. Seeing him dancing on his own was just tragic.

Actually I am with you entirely, it grinds my gears too. I watched the Chase the other day, Walshy was asking a young lady the usual questions and every single time she started her answer with 'Soooooo' I had to turn over!

1. Young knob-heads that use 'dope' or 'stoked' when something good happens to them. Cnts!
2. The inability of any person under 30 to reply to a question without beginning their reply with the word "So'. It drives me up the wall.
Point 2 of your post is my all time pet hate and would find myself shouting at the Tv or radio when somebody uttered this. In real life I drive a cab and can't help overhearing conversations from the back, whole dialogues from most teenagers go completely over my head, it's like another language.. I swear down blud.

Quite right. The expression (which made sense) used to be 'from the word go' i.e from the very start. Americans started saying 'from the get go' instead and young people, always in thrall to anyting from the USA, began to ape this idiocy. I've started using it myself, admittedly, but only because I want to appear dope and woke.
