There’s an article in the Independent newspaper on it. It looks like there was a handful of protestors outside the A and E after the incident. Probably hard core scum. I’d also like to see BLM come out and criticise the shootings and the actions of the rabble.
Unfortunately almost every cause has it’s hard core extreme edge, people who are prepared to push things to the limit even taking the lives of others. We are seeing it here with Extinction Rebellion, they make some very valid points but their actions alienate a lot of the people who would potentially be sympathetic to the points they make.
Isn't that the same for both sides of any politics?

Was on the front page at lunchtime, which must be a disappointment to you.
Ironically the Beeb gave it more attention than most of the mainstream US Press. NY Times doesn't even mentiion it, nor, as far as I can see, the Chicago Tribune or Washington Post.
And AfD is making an ass of himself again with his links (above) to 2 well-known, deeply-biased right-wing websites.
As for Gradgrind, the OP, he's up to his usual tricks again. The LA Times, admittedly slightly left-leaning, is at odds with his garish account. I think I'd trust them rather the cr*p he gleans from Twitter.
According to LAT, reports that both ER entrances were blocked by protestors are "unverified".
One protester was heard to shout "Hope they die", not a mob chanting that phrase.
Most damning, not once does the LA Times mention BLM or Antifa. Rather, they suggest that local residents have been protesting about police shootings in recent weeks, including the fatal shooting of a motor cyclist, and that these made up the bulk of the protesters. (no doubt, though, where some of the BLM idiots' sympathies will lie.)
As ever he is adept at using exaggeration and half truth in the obsessive pursuit of his own agenda, and it certainly gets everyone frothing and cursing on here.
The two officers are, thankfully, stable and out of the ER.
