23rd Oct - 9th Nov.
Get the bog roll in.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I don't think so, tried lots of stuff but nothing worked so I just said to heck with it. Now I eat stuff I know will give me a bad belly, like creamcakes, and accept I'll have a bad belly.

Same here, but someone i know had a specialist recommend kefir to them and it seems to have improved mine

My feeling is that after this fortnight Drakeford needs to stand at his lectern and absolutely read the riot act.

Divert money to enforcement and say that any business flouting the rules will be shut until 2021 and individuals involved fines. No ambiguity, you either do it or we'll close you. Most seem to be able to do it but they aren't going to if not forced.

I'm literally just off the phone to a senior figure in tourism. They really aren't happy with not knowing what will happen after November 9th. A long term plan is exactly what we need.

I cant imagine Drakeford raising his voice never mind reading a riot act

I am embarrassed he is supposedly leading my country.

I think Drakeford reading the riot act would be incredibly effective as the rioters would be asleep by the time he finished it.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I think all this criticism of Drakeford is unfair.

Yes, I understand that there is a sort of national embarrassment around his dull, grey appearance, his age, his 1980s spectacles, his accent, his droning voice and blank face. I get that.

I do, however, think he's doing the best anyone could expect under such difficult circumstances.

I've just heard him being interviewed on Radio 4's PM programme (no visuals, of course, which helps) and he came across very well: statesman-like, calm, unflustered, and answered all questions with good, sound, persuasive answers.

Give him a break, I say.

He reminds me of the worst Maths teacher I ever had! Submissive, ineffectual. That teacher had the most unruly disruptive class.

Pembrokeshire locked down despite having a very low infection rate. Why could Drakeford not put full lockdown in place in Cardiff, Swansea newport and the valleys and left the areas who seem to be observing the social distancing rules alone. Why are they being punished for Drakeford's failure to enforce the lockdown in the hardest hit areas.

Unfortunately we have far too many people who expect something for nothing in Wales.

Those people have no understanding of running a business, paying a mortgage, managing people trying to keep them in jobs.

I feel very sorry for all those who will lose their jobs, die for reasons they wouldn't of had if there cancer treatment or elective surgery not been cancelled that’s without even getting into people’s well being.

Drakeford makes us a laughing stock the lazy plebs who stain my great country will continue to pick up there benefits long after Drakeford & his cronies retire happily on their pensions paid for by hard working people’s taxes.

Well looking at England, it seems the high risk areas don't like being locked down when the rest of the areas can carry on. We've seen Burnham arguing against stricter measures, who do we trust to decide when small, local area lock down? Where do we draw the borders?

Seems to me we all have to be in it together because people are too selfish to do what needs doing in their area (if other areas aren't locked down) because it's just not fair!

Summed it up in one.

Taking aside his obvious dislike of a whole nation , what he said regarding finances is correct we are a financial wasteland . Socialism doesn't and never has worked , 20 years in power and (taking aside the EU money we're all so extremely grateful for whilst doffing my hat ) what exactly has devolution given us other than the likes of Drakeford , Jones & .Morgan ( the best of a bad lot ).

"In a free society, the State is the servant of the people—not the master."

One has to be honest about life.

Wales is a former industrial behemoth that could have prospered if independent .

But that was decades ago and I cant think of many other countries that would suffer more if Wales broke away. It would be falling into a pit of despair.Unlikely the EU would accept as member and given the fact Wales voted against EU Im not sure where Wales stands apart from being utterly divided and confused.

Best stay as she is and hope England doesnt shaft her completely which ,given the hate speech on here, one could forgive them for .

We will be independent one day, make no mistake about it.

Whether that will be in my lifetime is another thing.
