Just discussing heavily pro Republican and Democratic people on the other thread got me thinking of why there seems to be so many irrational people on the heavily pro Democrat side.
This also brought me to a conversation I had previously about one side valuing emotion over logic and the other side making logic and facts the cornerstone of their views.
Every week there seems to be a new trending leftist meltdown that have mental breakdowns just driving in their car if they see a sign they don’t like. If the election doesn’t go their way in November we could have a very rich bounty of videos to add to this, but in the meantime...
This thread is for your favourite irrational leftist meltdowns:-
I will kick it off with a brand new one today.

Huh?
Gwyn posted that he could respond with certain things (but didn’t), I encouraged him to as I don’t believe they exist. I’d love to see them.
How have you taken that as him not being allowed to put a counter forward? Sounds like you are being silly to me as It is the opposite of that as I am actively inviting people.
If they can show that this level of emotional meltdown on the Republican side then please put it forward, id love to get a sense of the levels of hysteria on both sides as I can only see it from the Democrat side.
Feel free to post the counter if you can.
In the meantime, here is another:-

And there's me thinking the essence of this site is a light hearted sometimes off beat look at life.
Dr P -Its not the Oxford Union on here ;it's not a Mensa site nor is it a conduit for frustrated psychologists. You are squeezing the fun out of it and it don't look good.
Finally, nobody has to answer to you nor explain anything to you. You are a nobody, faceless, anonymous (!!) and our lives are ebbing away.
Good post.
Fun and Gradgrind are mutually exclusive.
His obsession with American politics - an extension of his day job - has permeated and poisoned this forum for months. He fails to understand that most posters on here don't share that obsession.
I don't think - I might be wrong & he'll be the first to gleefully correct me - that he's barely posted anything on British politics or indeed virtually any other subject that comes up on here.
His agenda, his politics, his obsession, day after day after day until the last syllable of recorded time...
As you say...no fun.

It's all in his imaginarium eh, his own little world that he has trouble grasping certain facts whilst he's staring out of it.
Some/most of us don't mind dipping in now and then but we aren't obsessed with it like he is. In fact, and definitely for myself, it became boring because of his habit for repeating the same question over and over, dismissing answers and asking for new ones and then accusing people of running away when they could no longer be bothered.
On here, many people got bored with too much politics because we'd been through month upon month of brexit, now we have covid to argue other too. American politics is a sideshow to us, the main event is closer to home. Sidesho Bob (Trump) and Krusty the clown (Biden) will look after themselves, I lost interest. It looks like I'm not alone.
The posters on here who support President Trump have had to put up with 4 years of absolute abuse of the President of the most powerful nation in the world. Those same Presdential detractors can't even put up with a few weeks of other posters coming to his and America's defence without whinging. They even have gone so far as to bring in the moderator.

I’m not going to add links as nobody will watch them/care.
If you want to watch some just type in Republicans having meltdowns into YouTube. You can find a video to fit any narrative You like and most have no substance.
If you want to narrow you search include guns, god or gays, three things that make some republicans very cross.
Football was great by the way - better for the soul than watching YouTube.
I’ve searched, can’t find a single video of anyone having a meltdown over a Joe Biden sign, not a single one over a Joe Biden supporter trying to buy something and not a single one over a flag. This is my point, over everyday nothingness these people are literally having full blown meltdowns.
You are comparing that to religion and the constitution, two absolutely huge and important issues in American society. But still don’t see anything like the videos I’m posting, and you know it... which is why you haven’t.

Nope, I have zero interest in British politics. None.
I also think that 30 pages of posts on a single thread and multiple posts on every American politics thread suggests you are wrong that people aren’t interested. What you mean is you aren’t interested... but still click and post on most of them, including this one.
Says it all.

Which facts am I not grasping? Facts are the lifeblood of my being, so highly doubt that’s true.
I have told you once, I will only repeat a question when an answer hasn’t been given. For example I have asked you to show me where in my threat title “Supporter of the President Shot Dead in Denver” alludes to or mentions the Biden’s or his supporters in any way, your answer to that was “the headline is inaccurate and misleading”... yet fail to show me where. I have corroborated every word for you.
That’s your issue you think “any” response constitutes an answer, when it doesn’t. Only an answer constitutes an answer. If you ask someone where the local paper shop is and they respond saying “fish”... that’s not an answer and are perfectly entitled to repeat the question, regardless of it having some sort of response already.
If people were bored of politics then they wouldn’t talk about it every single time an American politics post comes up. So facts state you are wrong, but that’s the difference between emotion and facts, one is measurable.

There you go. A sign one found in less than a second. Im guessing you’ll come back to me know with an argument about them not being the same for some reason.
Then you’ll ask me to provide evidence of a shop version. These are easy to find, particularly now as not wearing mask is a good catalyst for trump supporters.
And so it will go on...

Good find, that’s a rarity. Still not a full blown emotional meltdown though is it? It’s just someone telling them to take their stuff down for violating rules (fact based annoyance).
I’m talking about emotional meltdowns for no reason.
Keep them coming, let’s see how many you can find.

I’m happy with that one. I’m not wasting time finding a video that you find acceptable.
As I said, I knew you’d pick holes in it as it doesn’t match your individual ideas. For it to fit I’d have to find one that matches your definition of ‘meltdown’ and ‘sign’ and can’t be linked or cross referenced to anything else.
It’s not debating, it’s filibustering.

I would have thought Trump would be better for us than Binden, with regard to Brexit.
Much of a muchness.
Biden's not the one to factor in anyway. He's there to win the election. Harris is going to hold a lot more sway than most VP's ever do. She'll be aiming for at least twelve years at the top of the US system. Maybe even sixteen if Joe is still compos mentis enough for 2024.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

For me, it’s that post Brexit I’d rather we dealt with a Democrat administration.
That’s pretty much it.
Biden, Pelosi and the Democrats in general have been hostile to us since Brexit, and Obama beforehand. You want us to be put at the back of the queue is that it? You want to have another country interfere insist that our country is broken apart (see the Democrat position on N. Ireland) ? You want us to not have a trade deal with the US and be at the mercy of the EU? Very telling.
Trump's administration on the other hand couldn't have been more supportive and positive about this country.

He’s barely compos mentis for 2012.

I’m not picking holes in it, I’m making the point that it doesn’t fulfil the brief really. You can’t pretend they are the same sort of thing, can you?
This whole thread is about a certain type of emotional meltdown being a frequent occurrence on the left, not a single video of someone asking someone to take a sign down as it contravenes rules.
We are talking the literal screaming, crying, end of the world type meltdown as if every single member of their family has just been slayed before their eyes type meltdown... you really think your video constitutes that?... honestly?
You knew I’d reject the video because you knew it wasn’t really the same thing. But you had to use it as it’s presumably the only thing you could find and made do with it, so you are being disingenuous there, which is a shame.
If you can’t find any then why don’t you just state that I may have a point here, instead of pretending you could post more but don’t want to? You don’t lose any forum points for that I assure you.

I think it has to do with age and education. The younger people with less academic achievement turn into outraged snowflakes and get all WAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAA WAAAAA when thy see something they can't agree with and struggle to process.
Some of these people react worse than my 12 year old son when he can't get his own way! They haven't been taught how to think but only what to think so when they can't....well, it's like a computer freezing, they hit scream mode and behave like oversized babies.
Sadly it's the rich and powerful (who are mostly right wing it seems to me) who are responsible for this dumbing down.
Well it’s nice to have a post not afraid to recognise the trend at least.
But most college and University environments are a hotbed of liberalism, full of safe spaces and a place where critical thought is seen as aggressive. This tends to be where these meltdowns are coming from rather than the uneducated.
University used to be where you go in order to experience a wide range of opinions and find out what you do and don’t agree with. Currently Republican speakers are being banned by liberal campus groups and they are creating a bubble of group think with fear for the other opinion.
This is why they can never explain their position or rationalise a debate against a Republican, simply because they haven’t been exposed to the other side or another way of thinking. This indoctrination of liberalism is where I think these meltdowns are coming from personally.
Barring a couple of outliers, they all seem to roughly be of the 18-30 age range which would tie in with that thinking.

Another day another meltdown. How many people are attacked for waving a Biden flag? Seems to be an every day occurrence that someone is being politically attacked for supporting the President.
Happy to discuss the true meaning of oppression with people if they like...

Coming thick and fast today.
That is Democrta policy in a nutshell, "you have started a civil war" by declaring who you support and putting out flags & boards. That gives us the right to steal or burn your flags and boards, beat you up and destroy or burn down your house or even shoot you dead.
