"Clarke used the phrase “coloured footballers” along with a series of deeply offensive remarks, including describing being gay as a "life choice" while giving evidence to the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee on Tuesday"
Let's be honest the England is full of sxxt was excruciating ,seeing we have English born and resident fans,English wives,Children ,and play on the Enlish League pyramid.
Hypocrites are we .
We should,if the English are hated that much ,be playing LOW-its that simple.
FA chairman Greg Clarke resigns after offensive remarks and racist slur .... on 22:04 - Nov 10 by Dr_Parnassus
I remember the same sort of people trying to paint Souness as a racist because he said it’s great to see the game having so many “coloured lads” playing at the top level and it enriching our game.
They intentionally stripped away all the context and called him a racist that should be sacked.
It’s embarrassing.
The type of people that used to spend their time writing into Points of View on the BBC.
I agree.
There should always be context and that context should be looked at inline with intent.
This is where the 'woke' lot shoot themselves in the foot - the extreme reaction. I listened to his apology on the radio this morning, I thought it was well spoken and sincere but that's not enough it seems - you have to be seen to lose EVERYTHING.
N.B.I must say though, I did wince when I heard the interview and it did need correcting. His explanation and apology should have been enough.

He was against busing. Not desegregation.

Why did he repeatedly state during the debate that he wasn't against busing?
In case you didn't watch, he strongly denied accusations he was against busing. He then rambled on about how he'll pay all teachers $60,000, said that children should go to sleep with a record player on at night and then randomly brought up Venezuela and President Maduro's education policy. All that was stated in concurrent sentences.
He quite literally sponsored a bill in 1975 that opposed the government from funding segregation in American schools. Why? Joe said that he "didn't want his children growing up in racial jungles".
His defence the past few months is that he had no problem with voluntary busing by parents. However, how many poor black parents in the housing projects do you think could afford to voluntary bus their children across tens of miles everyday without government support? Very few I would think.

You win.
He's a dirty racist.
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man."
This was Biden talking about Obama in 2007.

Yet it seems acceptable for Welsh fans to regularly chant England is full of sh*t and for the English to call Welsh fans sheep s********. Guess that is not racist or telling the rugby fans where they stick their chariots.
Saying "England is full of shit" is mildy insulting but is not racist as it does not refer to people or the English race. Nether is telling English people where to put their chariots.
'Sheep whatever' which you have needed to redact is racist, as it refers to Welsh people and the Celtic /Welsh race. It should be a racist offence in my view. I do not see why I have to put up with deeply offensive slurs from far right English skin heads.
Interestingly the less offensivve. "English always cheating" is racist as it defines people of English heritage inheriently crooked. We are however talking about football where cheating is part of the games so I do not consider this to be too insulting.
The sheep stuff is seen currently acceptable like Irish jokes of bygone age and Alf Garnet stuff. It is only a matter of time before the South Wales constabulary take it seriously. Reading FC had a dabble at it last season but were forced to apologise to Cardiff city fans as unlike me they could not differentiate racist insults and just plain common insults.

And nobody mentions the great white hope any more.
Tyson 'Gypsy king' Fury friends of some of UK and Ireland's most dubious citizens has discoverd at "being a victim" is far more lucrative and popular in modern day Britain than projecting his own values and beliefs.
"I've had a lot of friends who played for professional teams but they've not made it and I don't understand how when they're as good as if not better than players who have - and I'm not just saying that because they're my friends"
I find it very hard to believe that professional football clubs who rely heavily on producing young players to better their first team and eventually sell to help balance the books are deliberately releasing talented youngsters purely because they are not of a desired racial background.
On the contrary, we see clubs seek out talented children from all over the world and bring them into their youth academies at the expense of local children. Clubs with the capability constantly send scouts to India and other Asian countries to seek out talented young players. We certainly took advantage of scouting youngsters across the world when we had the resources to do so.

'Obviously not acceptable anymore'
Problem is, what's acceptable today, isn't acceptable tomorrow. I wonder how many of us would have even noticed Greg Clarke using the word "Colour" instead of the words "people of colour" had it not been for the "I'm offended for others" latching on to it.
It's as if some change the rules, just to show how clever and racially aware they are, and of course it gives them the opportunity to utter their favorite word "Racist"
Male/Female ? black, brown, coloured, Non-binary or genderqueer, hard to keep up these days.
