Some sort of argument? I remember it. Jen Reid illegally rercted a statue of a black woman doing a black power salute, the statue was removed by the council.
I disagree with saying"go back to Africa" which I also remember being said but don't misrepresent the thread. Very many people disagreed with that statue. | |

Since all of this BLM nonsense kicked off I have been astounded at how many people are so stupid they can’t work out that you can be both anti racist AND against the organisation of BLM at the same time.
My whole life I have believed that race doesn’t or shouldn’t matter. We’re all human and should try to get along. The amount of melanin in someone’s skin does not make a better or a worse person, what matters is what sort of people we choose to be. I’ve maintained this position for years and it won’t change until the day I die. Racism is stupid, and I hate it.
Yet I’ve been sent screenshots of a plethora of ex posters on the other site calling me a racist cowardly c word and numerous other insults, but when they post on here they’re nice as pie and don’t say boo to a goose. That’s what cowards do.
I’m happy to have the discussion with them about how I hate racism but also fundamentally disagree with the BLM movement. Hopefully they can pluck up the courage to peek out of their safe space for five minutes. | |

Any dissent and you’re automatically labelled a far right racist bigot. All very Orwellian. It’s getting beyond a joke now. Does anybody in the world actually believe that this mob is helping race relations?
Then you have the whole argument that politics should be kept out of sport indefinitely, which probably everyone agrees with.
Every sport that has done this has suffered, the headlines are not about the actual game now, it’s about who did the knee, who didn’t do the knee, who booed the knee. Someone didn’t knee they did the black power symbol instead, there’s a headline right there. What was the score? Who cares. It’s all about the knee. Millwall then release a statement calling their own customers a bunch of bastards.
Then poor Mesut Ozil has the cheek to complain about the horrific genocidal treatment of Muslims in China and he gets fined, dropped and chucked out of the squad whilst his club issues a grovelling apology to the glorious nation of China. There’s not much solidarity for racial injustice there.
