I was going to say “I wonder how long it will take for people to pretend this is about racism”.

Not long it seems.

I note the frequent broad sweeping statement such as " if you don't support BLM then you're a racist " are still prevalent, perhaps the individual who disagree has a differing view on the subject , such as they couldn't care less they have their own troubles to deal with, personally I don't agree with it, certainly after the scenes we saw in the summer, to me that would be condoning the actions of those groups who vandalised ,rioted and attacked the law and members of the public .

I think it would be best if the players came together to identify an alternative way to show their support for eradicating racism that is not associated with the anti-Semitic Black Lives Matter political organisation.

Same sort of sweeping statements as "If you support taking the knee, you support BLM". With the nod towards the black extreme version of it all.

Don't forget to mention the right wing football "lads" who were hell bent on smashing up London and anything in their way as well. All in the name of defending statues that were boarded up.

Just for fairness like.

It lost its meaning during the BLM crap that went on during the summer.

It should have stopped at the end of last season.

No need for it at every game, sporting event, etc,

Why don’t they do it before every news broadcast? Are they racist for not taking the knee?

Cheesed off with what?

A 3 second demonstration that they had to watch on the TV?

No. Life is pretty political at the moment and the BLM movement is a divisive one. People use sport as escapism and yet they cannot even turn to that without having it rammed down their throats. It has nothing to do with racism or being a racist contrary to what people will fall over themselves to tell you.

It’s a bit like the modern day feminist movement, the overwhelming majority of people agree with equality of the sexes, not many identify with what the modern day feminist movement stands for or brings to society however.

Same with this.

You’d prefer to see someone making the Roman salute while clicking their heels.

That’s because you are the same as them. As can be seen from your initial post. And many, many other examples of deeply racist views you have expressed previously.

Pretty bold statements, I have never been racist ever!!Prove it, before making such unfounded comments.

It’s not a real accusation, don’t take it to heart, you are simply being used as a tool for people to virtue signal. I have never seen so many people being labelled as racist in 2020 who are nothing of the sort.

Dozens of people in my circle are against BLM and what they stand for and most importantly what impact it is having on society, none of them even close to being anything like racist or bigoted in the slightest (they wouldn’t be in my circle if they were), these are people of all racial backgrounds.

Plenty of black and indigenous people dislike BLM, I suppose they are all racists too?

Ah well.

I hope such behaviour does not happen at a Welsh ground.

As a proud socialist/communist surely you can understand the reaction if a black African man who is on a reported £80,000 a week based on his hard work, skill and talent alone performs a gesture moaning about oppression and equality in front of several thousand people whose average yearly wage would only pay for him for about 3 days?

WTF has Feminism got to do with anything?

The issue is you are projecting your own political views, onto a small community of people from South Bermondsey, who have a history of being umm.. racist.

Of course there's that argument and I'm not condoning the actions of either side but would they have had to "defend" statues or monuments , without the actions of those under the BLM umbrella .The scenes at the Cenotaph were disgusting and so its understandable that certain groups would react , it annoyed me to say the least . BLM lost the moral high ground once they started committing acts of violence, the "lads" actions was reaction to those acts .I'm afraid BLM now has a negative connotation brought on by its actions of the past few months, both here and in the US .

That's not true is it.

I'm not going to argue with you, because you will no doubt say you didn't post that, or didn't mean it like that. There were loads of posters who saw it before you deleted it.

What do you mean what has it got to do with anything? I thought that was fairly well explained?

Third wave feminism is a divisive movement not supported by many, even though equality of the sexes is supported by almost all. So not supporting the highly divisive, anti semitic, racist and Marxist organisation of BLM doesn’t mean you are a racist, it means you don’t support it.

If you think our society is in a better position now than it was before all this started then knock yourself out. You would be hard pushed to make a case though. It’s taking us backwards at a rate I’ve never seen before in my lifetime.

But people feel it’s more important to make a visible personal gesture regardless of the impact on the cause. That the social media age for you.

They didn't have to defend anything, that's the point. They were itching for a ruck, and kicked off by lunchtime with the police.

Do you support players making a stand against racism or not? You can't pick and choose what bit they do or not. You either respect what they are trying to do, or you don't. It's easy enough.

What racism are they taking a stand against?

It started due to the myth of race based police violence in America, which is a falsehood. It seems to have continued while people have conveniently ignored that point.

Meanwhile police officers of all colours have suffered for it, being shot in their cars and murdered outside stores protecting the community.

If there is racism then let’s isolate it and explore it. Currently it’s the bogeyman, everyone says they want it to end without stating where it is. That isn’t going to help anyone or anything.

You are completely incapable of discussing your thoughts because you know you are wrong.

This has nothing to do with “kick it out”, this is taking the knee with the black power sign, it’s a direct take from America and the politics behind the actions. The politics that you don’t have the first clue about, clearly.
