The Welsh education system needs to broaden the mind, not everyone will stay in the country regardless of the population of non white people. Essential.

Mass immigration from the Caribbean into Britain only really happened from the 1950s onwards. That's during the lifetime of most of us on here I doubt it needs more than a few chapters in a history manual to get it across to pupils.

It’s about acknowledging the contribution BAME people have made to the word through deeds and culture and understanding how previous barriers have been overcome. It’s likely IMO that this will be taught through PSHE and Citizenship under the umbrella of tolerance and respect.
There is no mandatory requirement to teach ‘Black History’ as a topic/subject. | | | |
