It seems like Ousseynou Fall Seck has a similar attitude to that of Almeida not good especially being only 19, there are many many more as well no doubt, in this case Fall Seck could be being badly advised which won't help him in getting on in the world of football, I get it that footballers have big ego's etc, but this lad is only 19 and needs to learn fast by looks of it or his career could fall flat.  | | | |

At 19 yes I agree, we surely wouldn't have been signing him for the u21's, I know that some players are good enough for first team football at that age, but they are normally players that have come through the age groups at the clubs they're at and not really from teams not playing in English football, its a big risk to expect a 19yr old to come here and shine when he hasn't experienced English football, IMO of course. I would separate the Seck and Almeida cases. Seck is blatantly using Swansea to maximize his opportunities elsewhere, and that having clearly agreed verbally that Swansea is where he wants to be. OK, there's no contract yet so he's entitled to do that, but I agree with the club walking away. Getting used as a stepping stone is always a problem, but not this blatant, ta very much.
Almeida wants to stay where he is, hasn't for one moment said he's willing to take on the Welsh rain (he's in Valencia remember), but if he says OK at a later date, that's fair enough for me. But is he a trouble maker? I would go with the club's assessment (including Matos). | | | |
