Terrific I’ve read he’s no right back ! He’s a natural footballer with huge talent and will become a very big player This boy is going to be a top name Treasure him while we can |
100% agree with regard to Lissah. In the second half he made one brilliant block & also a fantastic recovery tackle amongst several others. He is also very comfortable on the ball, has great balance and is very comfortable running with the ball. Our next big emerging talent that's for sure.

Matos clearly has something We have players with real falls Idah …two poor efforts ; many would have dropped their head . Not him Widdell .. he’ ll know he buggered up for their goal as did our defence for allowing such space Very cheap goal to give away Franco … what a pain on the arse for opposition . A real dog but a Crufts one Stamenic proving again he’s the main man on midfield Yeo . It’s why we watch sport ; the joy on this lads face is a picture Vigs… Not his best game but still produces a save that would have cost us two points . Priceless Open the Emva Cream , Keith

Even so we battled on for a win. In the previous 5 years we were losing these kinds of games. We all know we can play better but the result is everything right now and we won. We hav a big 2 weeks coming, Millwall away, WHU home and then QPR away. better to go into that with a hard fought win that we were maybe lucky with, than a loss.

Former Swans shine in Stoke's win at Bolton today: Galbraith with an assist for the 1st goal; Wilmot scores the 2nd goal. And, they won with 10 players after one player sent off in the 20th min with the score 0-0.
| Swansea City v Norwich City : The Indy Match Thread on 17:26 - Oct 10 with 1597 views | jack_lord | Excellent second half and in reality, bar the stupid Norwich goal, a very decent first half where we could and should have had at least two goals. Yes, there were some petty basic errors and flicks that didn't come off which, for me is excruciating but team effort was outstanding and deserved a bigger win. Really hard to say who is in our best starting eleven (apart from Vigs) but as Matos has clearly pointed out that this is a team and squad side | |

He's no right back? In the first half we had an attacking throw in on the left and he was our furthest player forward on the left wing!

And yet it was Fulton's interceptions that pushed Norwich's attacking moves on the back foot, very hard to pick out individuals as the team is stepping up as a whole, mistakes maybe made but that dread of going one down is being proved as unfounded. Stamenic is going tobe part of our future but he has still got a few thing to learn from Fulton yet. Gutted to miss attending the game but managed to catch stream. [Post edited 10 Oct 20:15]

He can play right back He is versatile Key also makes forays and end up in the left wing position losing the ball in the process My point is this It might not be his favoured position but to suggest he CANNOT play right back is crazy He also isn’t one to turn his back on a ball that might hit him He did today and certainly saved a goal bound shot He is ,even at this stage, outstanding a prospect So uparrow that ,!

There was a quote from the Norwich forum saying " we are 2-1 down and they are bringing on their first team! ," We have some really good technicians, build up to the first goal was fantastic.

Absolutely. We’ve had a good starting eleven for a number of years. We haven’t had anything like the quality on the bench or in some cases, not even in the squad. The amount of games we’ve been the better team for 60/70 minutes then got turned over when opponents brought players on who improved their teams and we couldn’t match it.

That pretty much sums it up for me. I'm always drawn to looking at the bench whenever the team is announced. It's a joy to see our options, this year. [Post edited 10 Oct 20:05]

The second had an almost Stoke esque feeling about it, but tighter space to play the passes. I can’t recall play like this apart from the Laudrup era

That quote about bringing on the first team was class. Just watched part of the game….great result but the most pleasing is getting a win after the International break. We usually suffer for a few games getting back into our rhythm. Mate said we were crap first half but a lot better second half. Tough midweek game and then the Hammers. Squad rotation will be important during this week I think….but that’s the case for all the teams. Well done today!

Its been a great start to the season with many positives, but we have had plenty of luck defensively. So pleased to have 40% of the points required for survival already in the bag. The positive team spirit is clear to see. We have created the opportunity to look up in the months to come...

We were a little bit off our rythm, as I’m sure Norwich were. Disagree with those saying they were the better team in the first half, we weren’t quite clicking, but I thought they offered very little until the goal, which was a sloppy mistake more than them creating anything. Massive cliche, but picking up points when you aren’t at your best is a sign of a great team

Thank you Tosh, from one of the many that enjoyed the ride, watching from under the West Stand, to the East Terrace, to standing on the North Bank, all those years ago. YJB
