They can yes. So they can decide whether or not to attend themselves.

Most Anglican churches around here are lucky to get 15-20 people in their congregations, apart from the happy-clappy places like Bont-Elim.

Those places are rammed full of God botherers every Sabbath.

The New Life Church near us seems to have hundreds there every week. Happy people, the buggers always seem to be smiling.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

If Coronavirus does wreak havoc amongst the over 70's then Christianity could be essentially done and dusted soon.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I don't understand why people speak about religion the way they do sometimes. If you don't believe then that's great and it's up to you. But, why insult those who do?

Beacuse many religious people are very judgemental and I'd never trust a priest alone with a little kid.
Hope that clears that up.

A lot of Catholic Churches have been shut down completely so at least the children are protected.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I agree with you no need to insult people.

Perhaps those who don't believe in a higher entity looking over things are a touch irritated that we have 29 unelected by anyone bishops helping influence and amend the laws that govern all of us here in the UK along with the influence that other believers bring to bear on government policy

I suppose as already alluded to above many question the blind faith put in institutions by their followers which have repeatedly hidden, covered up and protected those guilty of paedophilia on an industrial scale carried out by numbers of its representatives and perhaps wonder why there are still large followings for such institutions.

I mean nobody admits to being a fan of Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter of Rolf Harris anymore do they? But the church just rumbles on with a 'nothing to see here' attitude.

There of course are those who observe the many celebrations of a Gods claimed successes (Easter Harvest celebrations for example ) but are baffled by the lack of condemnation by Gods representatives on Earth of all the inconvenient nasty things that go on as in perhaps the current Pandemic. Not a peep out of the various churches or religions that I've heard so far condemning various Gods for such dastardly goings on. I suppose the old 'God works in mysterious ways' covers that sort of thing quite handily.
