He looks the biz, 21, proper training in a first team squad, what can go wrong ðŸ‘🤔
What can go wrong? Cooper. Cooper can go wrong.
We have to give the likes of Piroe, Joseph, Whittaker, Cullen and even Lowe the chance to play under a manager who doesn't think that attack is something you use to put posters up.

I should maybe leave the irony alone. I’m pretty sure he won’t be at the Liberty in August. I would rather he left and we got the compensation than sell anyone.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

We're not paying him off and I cannot fathom anybody in a better position than our club wanting to pay £4.5 million to bring him and his style of football to their club.

I would guess that £4.5 mill is a figure thrown out for negotiation - no one could be that crazy flush with money.

Then why are we buying players if he isn't going to be here. That would be madness especially if it is for the type of fee reported.

The recruitment arm seems separate from the coach. That should allow a consistent recruitment policy and ensure that a consist way of playing is established. As long as we hire a coach to play that way.
However if the coach wants to play a different way it will cause conflict

The club has to progress and move on, he could go at any time not just now, even in September or October. The progression of Swansea City is far more important than Steve Cooper, he isn’t the be all and end all.

Cooper is as irrelevant as it is possibly to be as regards our club. Not a Swansea man, Cardiff supporting at heart Ive no doubt,no great coach,no inspirational figure,no great tactician. His support on here is out of the sentimental, defensive ,negative kind. He moves on and we replace.
He will leave having made no great mark or impression on our great club.

I get the impression that Cooper is acutality a young version of Roy Hodgson. Roy himself played a rigid defense based style with all inspiration coming from acts of brillaints for big name layers. Zaha in Place Ayew in Swansea.
If Cooper went to Palaces they would carry on in the Roy tradition. Parker is more like Francj De Boer and could turn out badly. Cooper would be the safe option.
The other adbavatage of Cooper is that he could fast track in Guehi and Ayew with no transfer fees. With cash they could get Brewster at a knockdown fee.
Another who can only use his left foot. There is a pattern here.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Odd.
Even a cursory glance over his Youtube videos suggests that he's comfortable using his right peg if needs be. The very first goal in this one is taken with his right.

What's you verdict on him Doc, I know nothing of him myself?

Me neither. All I know is what I've seen of him on Youtube since he was linked with us.
If he's Dutch we can be fairly confident that he's had a decent technical grounding, although based on the type of football the PSV teams play in the various highlights he looks the type to thrive on a quick pass through the middle rather than an aimless lump into the channels. Not sure if Cooperball will suit him all that much.
But it's always hard to properly assess anything based on TV/video. There's no substitute for watching a player in the flesh.

PSV Eindhoven striker and long-term Manchester City target Joel Piroe is at number 24 on our list.
The technically-gifted frontman models his game on Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski but sees his long-term future in La Liga.
The 17-year-old has attracted plenty of interest around Europe and is known for his fierce long shots.
He’s spent time at fellow Eredivisie clubs Feyenoord and NEC before being snapped up by the Dutch giants but they know they’ll face a battle to keep hold of him in the future.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
