| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I've made it very clear I'm not a Martin fan - but if he plays Downes in his right position again and starts Piroe I have a positive feeling for this match.

Downes is outstanding literally in every way.He utterly eclipes the overated but noble Grimes .Piroe has to be given support, proper support and Ntcham should never ever play wide. It is so frustrating to see the lads so cinnfused and unhappy at their work.

| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Matchday Thread THURS UPDATE on 10:50 - Feb 3 with 3066 views | Thornburyswan | Assuming Nauts is out I’d be going 3-4-1-2 Fisher Burns - Cabango - Manning Christie - Downes - Grimes - Ogbeta Ntcham (or Wolf if Ntcham needs a break after recent injury). Obafemi - Piroe | | | |

Downes lacks focus, very poor at reading the game, makes idiotic challenges, like the one that got him booked on Tuesday. Never seen him interviewed, but on the pitch he does not come across as the brightest. A long way from being captain material. When he is caught in tight spot or surges forward with the ball he is a joy to watch, but falls well short of bearing comparison to Grimes.

Or the only one with real guts and pride. He can be a hot head but my God,do we need one .It’s just a case of man management and there is our problem, Our captain essentially interprets manager s tactics and plan

It's all about opinions, but definitely don't see that, he reads the game well and has very quick feet.

"Very quick feet" - absolutely - which makes even more ridiculous for the manager to have played him for months in a position where his feet could be covered in bunions and still be able to stroll through a match.

Yep. When he gets forward the opposition are alarmed as opposed to what happens when Grimes does. It's exactly what doesnt happen when Grimes strolls forward .

He has passion and skill and is a much better player than Grimes will ever be Grimes as we all know only uses his left foot, slows the game down far too often and as for dead ball situations, well we all know his limitations there.

We should be so lucky. Normally I never drink during a game but tomorrow will be different as I will have to suffer Wales getting trashed in Dublin by the Rebels Tomorrow a tough day for us
