No indications of anyone having a 'Pato style' sulk, from what I can see.
Swansea should look to get these guys firing increasing their value while keeping and interest in Ogbene who Martin likes and who's deal will be down to six months in January.
In mathematical terms Piroe as Obafmi will be increasing in value whereas Ogbene / Curtis will be significantly decreasing in value. This six months could see a £6m swing in trading value. Obafemi £5m to £8m Ogbene £6m to £3m for example.
Swansea have developed a wheeling dealing style which is good. Cynical fans only focus on sales not n buys. Swansea have always been good at getting value from sales. Sadly too many loans again this season. But Congreve and Ollie Cooper have stepped up.
He has harped on all week how he'd be sold this week as he's not happy here.
He'll get something right one day.
Where have I said he would be sold this week? I’ve not said it once.
You are such an odd poster, fair play.
I have a 100% record with my info. Always completely spot on and proves as such. Show my quote saying he will be off this week then. Should be plenty considering “I’ve harped on” about it… right?
Or maybe you are just making stuff up again because you can’t get one up on your idol.
It’s odd that people completely forget that this website reported Piroes people were trying desperately even up to the last minute to get him out of the club. (Fact)
People completely forget that Martin came out end of May and said Piroe was “not interested” in signing a new contract.
Yet he’s said he’s happy in the media so it must be true.
Swansea Independent Poster of the Year 2021 and 2022.
Piroe didn’t have an option to leave as nobody came in for him. But they tried to approach other clubs to get him out - it was all too late in the day.
But at least if we believe every soundbite a manager and player says, we can put to bed the “Cooper wanted out after Wembley” thing.
After that defeat he said it made them all hungrier to kick on as club next season….
And let’s also remember how ‘happy’ Bale was at Real Madrid too.
