You have to wonder how things would have worked out for him if he'd joined Man Utd under Ferguson rather than Spurs under Venables.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
I am sure that we all wish him well. He is only 54.
Very good footballer but a drun ken ,wife beating jerk ,with not the sense to see the religious bigotry on the Fluted song about hate and division. He enjoyed the notoriety,he enjoyed being the billy big bollox and cried when it all came falling down. No sympathy at all as he induced his own fall .
Met him at a railway station a few years ago he was drunk as a skunk scrounging fags off taxi drivers . I got chatting to him he said he had been to his nephews funeral, he had a pair of sunglasses on with the price tag still on them he said he pinched them from Newcastle airport , he then went into M&S and bought loads of cakes and then started giving them out to rail passengers! totally bonkers
Very sad and very funny at the same time I'm sure his life will come to a tragic end one day.
Gazza was never anywhere near World class, he was just another hyped up English job, Glasgow Rangers was about his level.
English press are good at hyping up all their sports stars, but I'd say they were not far off with Gazza, definitely world class for an all too short period, to say different is churlish. Shame about the mental health and addictions.

Yep. Trampie is talking out of his as per usual here.

He was totally over hyped, he was not a world class player.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Yeah ok tramps thays your opinion, but he could consistently do things very few players could do, for an albeit too short period, that makes him world class for that moment in time. He won't be an all-time great as the period was far too brief.
Certainly not a world class player but showed flashes of brilliance
Was at his peak in 1990 and certainly did well in that World Cup. A sad character really. But not to be talked about in “world class” terms under any circumstances.
Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Injury robbed him of realising his true potential. Before that Forest game he had the world at his feet.
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.
