Looks like Wrexham as things stand have been hard done by due to Southampton's cheating, Southampton rightly kicked out of the play offs but I would have thought their place should be taken by the next highest placed team in the league Wrexham.
I haven't heard anything but I wonder if Wrexham will look to take legal action. |  |

The charges were brought against Southampton after the play off semi finals, no chance for Wrexham in my opinion because they did not quality for the play offs. They will winge and moan but they will get nowhere with the EFL and they were too many points behind Southampton to go for compensation against them. |  | | |

If it was up to me I would have Wrexham play the Smoggies on a neutral ground this weekend for the right to play Hull in the final.
Second prize, delay the final a few weeks and start the play offs again - Millwall v Wrexham and Smoggies v Hull.

Wrexham could argue they didn't finish in a play off place because Soton cheated, Soton apparently admitted to cheating during the regular season, conveniently games they didn't win, the first of which was way before the Wrexham game that they won 5-1 at Wrexham, nobody was beating Wrexham by such a scoreline, reading comments online people think they probably done it in games they won as well and the Wrexham game sticks out like a sore thumb as it was such an unexpected scoreline, Wrexham would have been in the play offs if they had won that game. | |

A question I would like to ask is why didn't the EFL didn't suspend the two legs between Southampton and Middlesbrough. The issue was raised by Middlesbrough 48 hours before the first leg. The EFL should have stopped that game going ahead. [Post edited 21 May 14:58]
