ðŸ‘. Thanks for the clips, brought back some great memories. The goal against Wrexham in the Welsh Cup final is a really fantastic individual goal, great skill.
The thing I take from these clips is that he runs at players with his head up. How many players these days have their heads down not knowing where to pass.
Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.
I watched Curt in all his pomp and still nothing to choose between him and Robbie as Swansea's finest. I missed Ivor so can't really comment. However I think Michu is up there with them just not for long enough unfortunately.
Leighton James, Robbie James and Alan Curtis all had long careers and played at the same time, I would say Leighton was the most talented, he had the most caps and was signed by the champions of England for a club record transfer fee at the time and he was in the PFA team of the season for the top division at one time also. Robbie was everyone's favourite because he was all action in the middle of the park never out of the game, always putting tackles in and breaking into the box and scoring. Curt was something of a bridesmaid compared to those two, Robbie was Swans top scorer when Swansea finished 6th in the top division and Leighton was top scorer the season before when Swans got promoted, but Curt made everything tick, he was a linkman and an outlet who created goals and scored goals.
For all the good players Swansea have had during our time in the top division this time round as individuals Swansea had better players the first time round as well as Leighton, Robbie and Curt, Swansea also had Ante, Jimmy and Bob Latchford.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.
The best player I've ever seen for Swansea based on longevity and consistency is Leon Britton, nobody else comes close to him.
Agree Darr if we're talking longevity and consistency alone it's got to be Leon for me too but for flair, skill, pure class and Swansea City loyalty it's got to be Curt.
The way he would run at defenders, drop that shoulder and be away was a joy to behold ! Watching him,Robbie and then Charlo burst onto the scene from 1976/77 onwards as an 11 year old schoolboy myself was an absolute pleasure to watch ðŸ‘
I've stopped reminiscing now back to reality .....Oh F*ck we're in the shit 😂😂😂
