Candidates No 1 Woodman. I have no problem with this as long as Benda goes on loan. Benda has value and cannot stagnate. Another great season on loan sees his value rise and he is under contract. Swansea should be looking to make him no 1 or sell for £3m or so.
I expect some great young gun have never heard of coming from Chelsea. Swansea did good work for them in developing and increasing the transfer value if both Gallagher and Guehi. Ike Ugbo is 21 has had two good seasons in Europe one under Paul Clement at Cercle Bruges. Timo Anjoran another but has had little senior game time. A whole list of Chelsea options in fact. Many are slowly moving out of the English 'Cooperball era'. |  |

We have used loan players in the past under Brendan and Laudrup
Borini, Gylfi,De Gauzman
I understand that some do not see the point in bringing Woodman back when we seem to have adequate resource in that position already...but even at our "peak" we were using the loan system so providing we pick the right ones long may it continue....I agree no more Hourihanes...more of the MGW, Brewsters et al | |
