Coming home from work last night two young lads about 15-16 years old where in front of me just passing what looked like a Muslim lady hair covered the one lad went to grab her hair covering I shouted oi! Stop that he ignored me just laughed and pulled her scarf I started running they both ran like cowards shouting the usual stuff like paedo 🥱 the lady was really upset and started crying but thanked me I waited with her until her son came and picked her up.
Where are we going in this country when the kids are doing such stuff to a defenceless women it's disgusting, anyway I'm glad I did what I did but just made me think what if one of them had a knife etc but I would do the same again |  | | |  |

But saying that i don't think i would trust them to be much use in whatever situation anyway. | |

We need all of thm out on th beat though, like they used to, around the local streets and ASB hot spots. Teens dont fear the police anymore, changing them from a force to a service hasn't helped, they are more social workers than defenders of law and order. | |

To be honest, I don’t think your likely to see a cop walking the beat in the near future. Between 2010 and 2020 police officer numbers were decimated, throw in austerity and it was a bad result for law enforcement. Boris started a programme to reverse Theresa May’s cuts and officer numbers are on the up again, but Police Forces are seeing their budgets squeezed and the increase in officer numbers will be accompanied by a decrease in the number of civilian support staff who undertake the back office functions etc. And seeing as business has to continue, it’s almost certain a proportion of the extra officers will be diverted in to back office roles to ensure things run reasonably smoothly. A serious case of no joined up thinking and robbing Peter to pay Paul. | | | |

Why would they fear them cat.
They are are taught NOT to do so.
When I locked up,solicitors will advise them accordingly ,which means they have nothing to fear so keep quiet and don’t cough .
Policing is almost impossible now

When I see a Muslim lady wearing a Hijab I always have an instant emotional reaction and think "DOCTOR" after experiencing a Libyan doctor at Singleton Hospital whom despite having cancer, returned to work ASAP to look after her paitents.
