Maybe I’m being glass half full, but I think that it was a pretty even half. We had a couple of half decent chances. Kane’s execution is consistently 50-50, but you can see what he’s trying to do. They’ve had a few opportunities, but I think we’ve defended pretty well and restricted them to hopeful shots from distance. Remember we’re the away team!

The conditions do seem to be bad. They're all struggling with their touch and weighting. Glad to see Dykes two good shooting opportunities and make that good run that Kane didn't find - he's looked more dangerous than he has for weeks. The first chance in particular was well taken and well saved. Austin not moving freely at all. Johansen looks class, some lovely crisp passes, especially in the first 30. Wallace decent, back three decent. I think we're doing ok.

PNE definitely had the better of that half but we did create two good chances. The Dykes lob was poor but with his other effort, he really was unlucky: he controlled the ball well with a deft first touch, then drilled it low and on target but the keeper got an outstretched leg on it and saved it. If he had placed it much wider, he might have missed the target altogether. |  |
