I guess. Shouldn't be allowed should it. I've no time for Reading but one mental twt has sold their stadium, their training ground, and run the whole place into the ground, and nobody can or will step in and take the keys off him.

The alternative though is the FL who claim to support and promote financial security and responsibility stepping in to keep the club afloat.

Its not a great message to the rest of the clubs you’re trying to force to cut their cloths appropriately.

That’s not to say that reading fans aren’t entitled to some sympathy, but again, they weren’t outside protesting when they thought a billionaire was taking over were they….

I don't get that Wycombe have done anything wrong.

The training ground is possibly the only asset that Reading have that they can sell for the sort of money that will either maintain Reading's existence for a while under the current owners or enable them to walk away at a lower selling price for the club. Let's face it no one will want to buy that ground. I'm not sure who else would want a training facility around there.

If they don't sell some assets, and soon, then I suspect they'll be out of business completely before the start of next season. If Wycombe were the vultures that some of the Reading children are saying they'd actually wait for administration and buy the training ground as a distressed asset at an even lower price.

Whatever we think of Reading I really feel for the fans. It must be heartbreaking to watch a club that had stable finances and leadership being driven off a cliff like this.

You have to feel for the Reading fans, their owner is an absolute scumbag.

They now no longer own their stadium nor their training ground, and basically they have to find somewhere to rent.

Also the Bearwood training ground is one of the best in the country, so Wycombe getting it for a cut price deal is a good deal for them.

I have a very bad feeling for Reading, they could easily be the next club to go out of business.

Got no time for those gimps next to the away end, but there will be thousands of normal Reading fans who potentially might not have a club to support in the near future.

I'm sure I read lots of times last season & during the summer that they were virtually broke & didn't have a pot to piss in! It would be a good purchase for them though.

I think people need to get over the MK Dons thing. Wimbledon were never well supported and couldn't generate crowds even when they were in the PL. Always in the shadow of Chelsea. If anything, it's worked really well for Wimbledon.

The club was in a dire state, no ground, very low attendances, no support from the council etc. The fans now have a club they partly own AND they've got a brand new ground in Wimbledon. The move to MK definitely brought about a positive outcome for them.
