Much stronger starting IX which was always gong to be the case after Monday.
Put even more pressure on ourselves to win today though .

Esquerdinha bombed out again completely which for his progress just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense

Relief to see Madsen isn't injured. Good opportunity to see how Hayden compares to Varane.

My kind of XI. Much as I’m not a Nardi fan I’m not sure Hamer is much better if at all. The odds have shortened marginally since the teams were announced.

Guess we’ll be seeing JCS around Easter time.

He was originally on the bench in the picture posted above 👆

Pulled out in case he was spotted on socials because he has decamped to the Lynch’s for New Year.

He’s now the artist known as JC-SALTBAEr

Read the line up again - Steve Cook is starting.

Hamer was at fault for the first goal the other night. Probably also heading back to the thriving metropolis of Sheffield very soon

Bench yes, Chair, no

No Frey on the bench but Kolli is available once again. Much happier with that starting XI: Hayden for Varane was a swap most of us would have called for. Mbengue back too but with Dembele ahead of him today. This looks a strong side for us.

I reckon our strongest starting 11 on paper would be this line-up and just the additions of Chair and JCS when fit (probably for Cook and Smyth).

Blimey, we've had it if its a starting 9

And someone else said musical chairs for goalkeepers but Hamer was poor on against WBA so he's dropped, good to see the manager is prepared to make those decisions

Madsen’s fatigue is a worry. Hope him be replaced by Vale by HT or 60mins

The proper defence + Hayden. A little surprised Nardi back in.

Play anything like we can and we'll win

Say the second sentence in a Tonto-voice. It's brilliant!

This is true. But it also applied to the last two games regardless of personnel
