Except a lot of the things on that list ARE banned and the rest aren't plastered absolutely all over the sport trying to tempt people into an addicting tendency / taking advantage of people that already have one. They might be more or less dangerous but they're not completely synonomised with football.

Drinking , smoking, gambling, drug taking, pornography . All of it considered ok by some and not ok by others.
Ive got two good mates, who's lives were completely messed up because of gambling. Also my brother in law has serious issues with it.
I had another mate, who took his own life sadly, and one of his biggest battles along with drugs, was gambling.
Look, I dont have a problem with people gambling if thats what they want to do, I just think, as a football club in the community, it has a responsibility. Promoting online gambling isnt a responsible thing to do. IMHO. |

Just to kindly confirm, the partnership was announced at 3pm on Friday afternoon, and this was not a deliberate set time or pre-planned specific marketing technique. The announcement was due to happen at any time on Friday, and the time suitable for all involved was mid-afternoon in the end, taking into consideration other announcements that day, including pre-season.
Yes, we can confirm that if you would like to purchase a sponsor-free shirt, there is no issue at all in organising this for you. If you would like to send your size to us, when the shirts become available, we can organise the ordering and delivery of a non-sponsored shirt.
