Of course, you need a club to come in, a club you're happy to loan your player to, and the player needs to agree.
But it does seem that after a vast number of us were calling for more players to be loaned out, they are! Overall, this can only be a good thing.
We also seem keen to move players on that never have and/or are not seen as being up to snuff. Again,wouldn't disagree with this policy, but you hope in clearing the decks, you don't throw too many babies out with the bathwater. I always thought Wilkie was well rated on here. Being greedy I want another centre mid and another striker.
Morgan loaned out , Kolli sold in the opposite direction.

I do agree - it is the position we are most stacked in - so a notable fee to spend on someone who is likely to be maybe 3rd/4th in the pecking order for either flank and when we are surely relatively tight to SCR limits.
But also think it is quite exciting and potentially good forward planning to have someone to step up in say 12/18 months if we sold Poku or Saito or Vale.
Also wonder if having been burned by missing out on Rudoni, the club are keen not to repeat the same mistake twice. Asked a Wimbledon supporting mate and he said Nkeng is up there with Rudoni for highest quality, most exciting player he has seen in modern times. Their manager plays an ultra defensive wingback formation (hence Nkeng ending up at left wing back) and my mate said he could flourish as an actual winger.
Better to spend £1m now rather than miss out next summer when he goes to Forest or someone for £5m. | | | |

Sanyaolu is a right sided winger, Nkeng is purely left sided based on below highlights. The depth would be Saito/Nkeng then Poku/Smyth as wingers with Vale/Chair being used centrally now

Odd one but clearly the pay packet wins the day.
I’d of advised him to go Millwall or QPR or Norwich in that order for career progression but it’s all about the now these days.
