I thought this was a good read & marvelled at the knowledge of the author.
I'm not sure that I've heard of many of the players mentioned, not that this has any relevance or is a minus point. It just remended me how old I am! Go back 60 years & I would have been able to recognise the name of most Football League players & known their positions etc. This would have also applied to quite a lot of top "amateur" players as well. What I didn't know was the European players outside of the big clubs.

Excellent piece and for once nice to see it firmly based in reality rather than dream-on nonsense. I even agree that we could get a decent fee for Varane and that it is far more likely Kone is the one to attract a big bid than Burrell.

Very good analysis and actually listing targets for the club that are potentially likely to work. Whether they happen or not, is another thing.
But also well presented and excellent descriptions of what we need, what we want and what we could have a chance of getting.

Personally, I feel that if we had a player (fit and healthy, with good muscles, joints and ligaments  ) who could get a grip on the midfield and reduce the number of times that the QPR defence faces a panic situation, the team should improve enormously. 'Box to box'? Maybe, but let's start by finding someone who stops the opposition from getting near our box quite as often as they do. | | | |
