At last in football a real punishment for cheating that really may send hopefully the right message. Think those other clubs coming forward with evidence killed Southampton as there was an identifiable pattern of offending that just could not be overlooked.

Sure they probably have done this most games if they have admitted to Oxford. Think there needs to be more investigations as its doubtful its just the three games.
I seriously hope they dont get reinstated in the play off final. Some reports suggest this could still happen.
They are appealing it today. The bbc said the the 3 games they admitted to spying on, they never actually won… surely this can’t form their grounds to appeal. I’m surprised their manager hasn’t been suspended for a year too.

Could get worse for them. If the appeal fails, and it should do due to new rules brought in after Leeds 7 years ago, it looks like they might have a problem with their own players as well. As I said, could struggle next season. Serves them right.

As someone said on socials, bit of a stretch to think they went and had a look at 21st placed Oxford in December, 4 wins in 21 games, then put the binoculars away until Ipswich in April.
If I were them I’d take my medicine and shut up.

Good point this.... IMO, it wouldn't surprise me if they admitted spying earlier in the season so that the present manager wasn't punished. If the precedent was set before his arrival, they can claim it wasn't his initiative......
