Just seen on Facebook that a protest is being organised for outside the Liberty for midday before the Brighton game, flyers have been printed and a banner too! ......

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

Valencia's protest was pretty decent all leaving the ground 10 mins before half time.

Problem is we have to many PL fans in our fan base.

There'll be probably 18 Thousand still in the ground.

Unfortunately Max that’s probably not far off the truth the 1500 odd who would be involved are the most passionate fans the club have ....problem is the club don’t give a fuk about us there is currently more customers to replace us.

So how many will turn up to protest?
And who?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Hopefully enough to make it worth while otherwise they'll be looking out of the windows up in Hospitality grinning and laughing, much like they've been doing for the last few yrs only then it was behind our backs. If you and others on here are able to get there be there

Why don't we copy what the Valencia ultras did when we played the first leg out in Spain. I must admit sat in the away end, it looked pretty impressive, in that at half time, the whole section behind the goal dissapered on mass behind the goal, and then only came back up after about ten minutes after half timer. And then after the game they all demonstrated in front of the main stand . On TV that looked really impressive

See this is what is needed. They’ve had no pressure on and got away with any sort of questioning. Look at the sh*t Mike Ashley gets.

First step for me is the trust coming out publicly asking for Jenkins to resign with immediate effect.

This. Any protest is doomed to fail unless the trust fully back it. I understood their reasons last season as they wanted to try and build a working relationship with the yanks. They did that, and now the Yanks have fvcked them off!

Ultimately the trust need to step up to the plate now. The sell outs have taken their money out of the club- lovely jubbly, and are now set up for life. Some of the sell outs still continue to benefit from the pay role ??
What the lame trust should be asking themselves, is that with the continued miss management of the club, potentially ending in relegation this season, their shareholder value is being destroyed. Think about that, if it all goes tits up and we plummet through the leagues we will need that money to stage the comeback. The trust should be asking why is their % being allowed to be trashed, when the sell outs got full value. The trust are having no say currently in the club, insist now that our shares are converted to £ at the same rate as the sell outs, then in our darkest hour, which I think is looming, the real fans have significant funding to start again from scratch.

They own 21% of a multi million pound company which was partly sold without their knowledge. The people that sold out have remained in post and have become extremely wealthy people as a result. Yet they decide not to pursue a legal case.

Is this correct?

Just wondering...

If someone at the trust, past member or current, could be proven to have had knowledge of the sale, then legal action would be a non starter as their case would be torn to shreds?

Journals can be tweeted about this protest in advance. That is easy to do.

Another way to get the message across is to stop spending money in the ground / club shop etc.

Maybe not have responded to this thread.
But at least communicated since the vote with the members about the state of play, without giving too much away.
Failing that, to start giving media interviews explaining the unease. Or at least inform the media that protests are possibly going to be happening.

Trust have been far too quiet for far too long now.
Even UX and Matt, both of whom were at least on here regularly and about the only ones we were getting any interaction with (thanks btw), are quiet.

To all the Trust members.
We know you read this board, even if you don't post on here.
We all saw your election manifestos, that told us next to fukall about what mattered to the members, at least tell us if the Yanks are reneging/ trying to change terms on what was a heavily loaded deal in their favour or not.
Time to stand up and be listened to properly by the ex board/ new board has past.
Stand up now before it becomes too late and you don't have any members left to carry on the fight.
Scotch the rumours or admit they're true.
Or are you actually hoping that the number of members drops to the point where shares are returned to the club? (Seem to remember reading that somewhere when the Trust started. Could well be mistaken, so please don't take as definite.)

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Agreed. Wasn’t there some kind of notion to make the dealings of the Trust more transparent. This after the shambles of the Trust director not knowing about the Yank buyout ( incredible)!
I seem to remember the Trust as lauded organisation capable of great things; wtf has happened to that fighting spirit! Quite sad really after that great night in the Patti Pavillion; the feeling of unity was incredible back then. I really hope they are silent due to some legitimate legal reasons and not because they haven’t got a clue how to deal with the mess we’re in.

Someone said the Trust must get involved.

I was under the impression that it had been disbanded months ago
after they had done Jenkins dirty work for him.

The Trust will not back this due to Jenkins not allowing them.

Let’s look at some facts:-

The trusts director on the board best buddy’s with Jenkins, Morgan and the other rats
On the payroll of the club for 70 grand a year denied by the trust until the truth came out.
Got the contract for providing printing for the club.
Claims he had no knowledge of the sale to the yanks despite spending a lot of time with Jenkins
The trust vice chairman at the time I’m led to believe provided the IT system to the club.
Openly denied that the trust director on the board was receiving any payment

Both the above resigned when the truth about their personal interests in club came to the surface.
My question is how many others have used their position in the trust for personal gain?
This could explain why the trust are silent on any action being called for by the fans against the present/previous board.

To many skeletons in the closet that will be released as soon as they cross Jenkins.

Money the root of all evil looks to me that members of the trust board have succumbed to it. Throwing everything they stood fo out of the window and still conning supporters.

I can’t think of any other reason for the trusts lack of communication and action.
