I don’t blame Potter one bit. It was always going to be a move for him to get back to Britain and then step up to the premier league at first time of calling. Absolutely not.
As the newspaper article said, Premier League teams rarely appoint Championship managers, I don't remember the last time that it happened. If he didn't take this, the opportunity might not come again for a very long time.
Brighton are a well-run, stable club with a supportive chairman and a lot of money: Potter would have been a fool not to take it.
