IMO, and I’ve nothing whatsoever to back this up except players body language and play ultra safe behaviour on the pitch, he’s getting a bit desperate and is pretty close to losing some players (Baston for instance). Wouldn’t be surprised Routs and Dyer will be giving their opinions on training if he really is yet another FA produced ‘shape’ merchant who just talks a good game when he interviews.
But, whatever, this team really smacks of desperately picking players hoping that he lucks out on something that works. I hope to Christ it’s tonight. picking the two worst players from last Saturday isn’t filling me with a warm feeling just now, but this is why he is a manager, and I’m not.
Come on Swans. Just do it.
