Wrexham 1970.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Think that I might have gone to Brentford a month before but for a baptism of fire it was Northampton away in the latter part of the 1977/78 season.
Me and the old man went on a bus full of headbangers...crates and crates of lager consumed from the off, meaning that piss was transported down the aisle in the plasticy covers on the top of the seats....and tossed out of the moving bus.
Northampton's ground was also a cricket pitch so the left side was just taped off. Must have been a couple of thousand of us behind the goal. Attendence was 4,800...prob half of them Jacks. Pitch invasion when we scored...mobs going into the Northampton end....think we lost 3-1. Fighting outside the ground. Police pissed off with us that we were banned from every county on the way back including the Services. My old man goes off on one and demands the police let us in to have a piss. They let us...reluctantly.
Welcome to the world...never looked back...

Warwick should know where it is.

George Eliot, the well-known ex-Charlton goalkeeper, was born just outside the town.

Newport away spytty park fa cup. We were behind the goal on the open terracing, one of our lot jumped over the back wall of the terracing to get to know some of their lot, marched across the playing fields after the game with Newport and a few of our special friends on the dual carriage way trying get at us. We shacked up by the college with their lot on the roundabout. Welcome to following the swans away.

Newport away in the early 70ies. We lost. First time at Somerton Park watching football and not speedway.

Newport 76/77

Remember Thrasher's recount of Northampton away 3-1 77/78

Memorable one at Torquay when we won 2-4, we played in green and red stripes. I think Dave Bruton and Toshack were amongst the scorers.

0-2 at Watford. We were on the Big Match. Alan waddle and Kevin Moore scored. Good away Swans support at each of these early away memories.

My sister-in-law worked with Dave Bruton's missus in 'The Stores' in Swansea mid-70's. The then Swansea team signed a piece of card for me, still got it. Great affection for this team.

Anyone remember the proper name for, 'The Stores'? Was it J.T. Morgan?

I can't remember! It would have been one of those pop and crisps bus trips away to non league opposition in the FA Cup in the late 60s when I was a schoolboy - Weymouth possibly.

It is interesting that Chris Whitty says in UK doctors record where they think the virus is present and Germany record of they think it is the cause of death. That's very different.
