Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
What was the team Builth, because it wasn't down as a official fixture?
I was told it was pretty much full strength. Obviously swapping and changing as friendlies are. I was told out midfield were non existent, and the highlights show that the young number 30 is going to be a liability if he ball watches all game.

Young full back took a hiding, grimes this year needs to up his game to get the mid going
Don’t hold your breath on Grimes. I like him; I like his technical side as there isn’t enough of that in football. But that’s just damning him with feint praise. I’m pretty sure he’s reached as high as he’s going to go. Hopefully he’ll prove me wrong, but I don’t see where the balls and toughness needed to run a midfield is going to come from.

Rushesha, Lewis, Smith and Dhanda all looked a bit suspect on the clips. TBH we looked a bit of a shambles but Southampton as their first outing and some not looking particularly interested was always going to be tough.
Ignore the results of per season friendlies. Especially ones that last over 2 hours with loads of changes, experiments and playing against Premier League opposition.
Simply an irrelevance in terms of the result.

From the hidhlights Rushesha was in a back three with 4 full internationals converging on him at pace with the Swansea midfield and other defenders lagging 20 yards behind.

Apparently Rushesha and only 17. A hard ask for him to go from age group football to face a full strength PL attack. Perhaps Cooper wanted to cool his heels a bit to show him he is good but still has a long way to go.
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

Most people will agree with you n Grimes.
If only he had a pair of lungs and balls.
We are crying out for someone who can tackle in midfield and get the ball forward.
Lord_Jack increasingly detached from the riches of kicking a ball

We have brought Smith in for that, looks to have had a bad start but we will see how we look now against County next week.
Friendly or not though, conceding 7 like that isn’t acceptable, the body language looked awful considering we had our skipper playing while the goals were flying in.
