You have posted two articles by Dr's treating Covid paitients that say it doesn't work recently, they may reference the same original research but it is research that has obviously been read and further understood by them and they have seen fit to agree with it. After all they are Dr's treating covid patients, and their years of training and experience probably puts them in a good place to understand and act on medical research.
You also posted another back in March/April in which nearly 80% of Doctors treating Covid paitients thought there was a better alternative. This isn't a new phenomenon. You claim it works and post links that say it doesn't.
You've now posted a video by a retired A&E nurse that claims it works.
If only there was a high profile recent patient who could extoll the virtues of successful treatment with HCQ?
So, again, just like the prof. No condemnation of the Oxford Unit Study. OK, I recognise double standards when I see them.
Dr Cambell is not the one that claims it works, it is doctors carrying out a study, but you know that. Classic character assasination while ignoring the actual data he supplied.

Tell you what boys, quit this interpretation of various scientists and look at what we have.
A land where a prime minister passes a mandatory regulation on masks but then says it wont enforce. Staff in shops not challenging a its not their job although they will stop a 13 yr old buying a bottle of Bells,60 paracetamol,4 packs of stanley blades and 60 fags for his mum. A prime minister that says we can beat this by the good common sense of the British people. Really!.He said that. remember that when people pine about hutting the pub at 10pm,when municipal swimming pools are closed when we have a nation of fat kunts that is more obese than anywhere in Europe.
This is why we are where we are ; we are too free a society and think we can do what we want ;we've been doing it for too long and now it's smashed us in the face and we don't know how to handle it. # All your discussions on what German scientists have said or what the Swedes have done or even tracing and testing is all superfluous drivel.
We have made a land fit for kunts to ruin the lives of the vast majority and we havent the collective guts to even "challenge" them in a shop.

This land will be not worth anyone living in unless we accept that we can’t beat the virus by locking down.
Experts have already said of the 20 areas in the north of England that are under lockdown restrictions, cases have risen.
How exactly is that happening then?

I'm not assassinating his character at all.
I'm choosing to believe the interpretation of a study by Dr's who are actually treating covid patients and the anecdotal reports of a large group of Dr's who were actually using the drug over a video posted on YouTube talking about a study in Belgium.
A video posted by a nurse who probably hasn't treated anyone with covid at all.

Retired.
No issue with him. Plenty of good tips on hygiene etc. Explains things at a simple level.

Some sort of enforcement is definitely needed.
While I'm thinking about it, has anything happened to the SNP MP?

Which study do you believe where doctors are actually treating COVID? Surely not the Oxford study, or the WHO study or the Brazilian study or the Lancet study?
So neither of you are prepared to condemn the Oxford study, but you are prepared to slag off the many studies conducted by doctors all over the world. Like I said double standards.

It wasn't a study.
It was the experience of Dr's (I think in Spain and Italy) that you posted early on in the pandemic.
You said something like "look Dr's treating covid think HCQ is the best treatment" and some did. But it was less than 30% meaning over 70% of Dr's actually in covid ward's thought there was a better alternative.
Of course this was also before dexamethasone and hydrocortisone etc.

So, you rubbish studies but believe anacdotal evidence. OK.

Reason we are so badly hit is we have more tw@t per capita than anywhere in UK.Quote me on that.
Lockdown-dont make me fookn laugh.Makes no difference .People drink, fight, visit each other no matter what. And as for wearing masks...Boris wont enforce it.
So no lockdown helps then!
Great thought being on a train when a kunt spreads the virus all over you without you knowing.
Feel free to drink till your pissssed till all hours then have a scrap then fall over en route home. Typical British night out which the Tories apparently arent too worried about considering their own members are voting against restricted alcohol sales

As you know my wife works in a local primary school. Neston is almost a microcosm of the U.K. apart from relatively few BAME people. It’s not poor by any means. Mrs Prof has been home sled Isolating as a parent was positive and neglected to tell the school- All the class teacher, 2 TAs and 30 pupils off for two weeks. She comes home tonight. One child went to a 30th birthday party in a pub. Another a birthday party with 10 friends. Parents not giving a toss. Yes- we are idiots.

Paul. I find this current crisis deeply upsetting.
Im 70 and have seen a few big issues in my life but this one takes the number 1 prize.
Had we kept to even the most basic measures,we would have avoided this.
Neston,or at least old Neston has a reputation as being home to very strange folk.
Some right inbreds. Must be unhappy as Ladies Day was cancelled so could not go to the fair and fight in the Malt Shovel. Little Neston, Ness and Parkgate are fine. Burton is a bit weird. No pub for starters but home of the late John Peel

The COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel) recommends against the use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 in hospitalized patients (AI). In nonhospitalized patients, the Panel recommends against the use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19, except in a clinical trial (AI). The Panel recommends against the use of high-dose chloroquine (600 mg twice daily for 10 days) for the treatment of COVID-19 (AI). The Panel recommends against using hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin to treat COVID-19, except in a clinical trial (AIII)."

Not sure Kary Mullis is much of a diagnostic expert. He is also talking about HIV, a very different virus which undergoes latency with very low virus numbers. The paper shows good correlation to viral culture and the U.K. test. It does show why there are a small number of false positives but also the importance of asymptomatic false negatives
