For months now there have been serious question marks over the accuracy of the tests.
Well now there is a definitive study on the original research and it's world wide adoption which is totally condemning.

As has been said, better social distancing, improved hygiene and an increased intake of the flu jab have contributed.
In terms of flu being replaced by Covid, the government changed the counting rules earlier this year which reduced the figures downwards, the official figures now only count those individuals who died within 28 days of testing positive, die on day 29 and it’s not counted as a covid death.
The number who have tested positive for Covid and died within 28 days is 66,541.
The number who have died and have a Covid mentioned on the death certificate is 76,287.
The total number of excess deaths this year is even higher and nearer 80,000.
Those figures are after what have been some pretty draconian measures, imagine what it could have been like if those measures weren’t in place.

I have a story too but not from the news, a personal story of a friend. She was NHS. She and her husband had struggled for years to have children, I remember taking my wife and our son to see her and the look of joy on her face for our good news. They finally managed to have a baby now what, 7 years old. His mum Julianne aged 49 taken by covid. In your story he lost 9 months of life but Julianne lost who knows how many years and her young son has lost his mother. She was a truly lovely woman.

It might have something to do with a test, that is not a test, and also manipulating the figures, I mean why on earth would a person who tested positive on a Monday, then again 2 days later be counted as another positive test.. | |

It is not just the speed of spread, it is other things that have never ben seen combined in one Virus before.
We know that the Chinese were working on these viruses, supposedly to get a better understanding and thus better vaccines & drugs etc because they told us so 2 years before the pandemic. | | | |

I've just had a look at the Sweden deaths daily total, there is obviously a massive amount of backdating to be done.
Otherwise their deaths since November are falling substantially while cases are rising substantially. It doesn't look comparable to me. Very few countries can be compared to each other, for example we count all deaths within 28 days of a positive test and we have the highest testing ratio per capita in Europe.
Sweden aren't in a good place. In fact seem to be in a worse place than us. |

I just did a YouGov survey, the current results showed that 5% of respondents believe covid is a scam.
That'd be people like Darren of Plymouth then.
Other people then say they can't believe how quickly this virus has spread. Now think about Ebola, it spreads very quickly but the big difference is it kills very quickly too. It kills so quickly it can burn itself out, as in it stops spreading because whole villages in remote parts of Africa are laid low and wiped out before thay can spread it further afield. Even so, because it is so deadly there have been major international efforts to prevent it leaving Africa.
Covid is bad enough but if you want to see a virus spread quickly then Ebola is your virus. See what that would do in a built up area with close contact and people breaking the rules.
It'd make covid look positively tame. Put another way, do people really not understand that viruses spread quickly? We've never beaten the common cold which is a virus. | |

Just look at the infections v deaths. They've either discovered a miracle cure in the last three weeks or haven't recorded deaths yet.

Sweden has been a disaster, their death rate is around 10 times that of their immediate neighbours in deaths per million population.
They have changed to lockdowns and are now mandating masks.

I do talk to people, very few think this is a massive conspiracy. I only know/have spoken to one person who's considering not having the vaccine but only because he's concerned about how quickly it was produced.
Surely if it was a war against humanity they wouldn't have told us about the virus, they'd have locked themselves away and let the rest of us get on with it. Thye wouldn't tell us of vaccines or symptoms, it's not much of a war.
It's not about control either because they already have that.
If they all know this is rubbish then why are the vast majority wearing masks, using hand sanitiser, keeping their distance? Why have the protests only been tiny numbers of people? There was one in Neath and about 30 showed up. | |

I have only spoken to one taxi driver in real life who thinks this is a hoax and he clearly had issues. The only other people I've heard about and from who think this is anything other than real are right wing idiots on the Internet or talk radio.
I've got three mates who are Dr's, and know plenty of other nhs employees. They're just normal people who have normal lives . They're not part of any global conspiracy or propaganda machine. One of them sent me a photo tonight of his patient admission spreadsheet in Morriston ITU. It was over 20 lines of individual patients with nothing other than "covid pneumonia" next to their name.
This is completely real unfortunately. The same clowns who think this isn't real are the same ones who are anti-vaxx. Darwin was absolutely right. | | | |
