The negativity on this site is just bringing a lot of us down. Any positive posts are immediately pounced upon, and you can't even state an opinion without it being dissected by a group of posters who are just happy....with being unhappy...and finding things (that aren't) there.
Please can you all lighten up....it's draining.

As lifelong fans...what do we want? Success...an upward curve....positivity..
The forum is full of the opposites....it drives me mad..

Thrasher that's just not true. I can think of one poster who seems to have been against martin from day one, another who (it seems to me) can only see things through the stats he posts and sees those stats in the negative (I saw stats that showed we'd improved but he accused me of cherry picking and then an article with stats showing the improvemnt was posted) and there's another who is just a WUM, posting for bites. There's a few who aren't happy but most people are supporting Martin. It doesn't mean we can't point out any negatives though and post what we think is wrong.

An honest opinion is much better than misplaced positivity OR negativity.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Just say names, its easier.

I see things with my eyes, the match facts/stats back those up. I don't know where this myth came from that I use stats to form my opinions?

I suppose its to swerve from giving me credit that my thoughts on the game turn out to be accurate.

You for example have spent weeks telling us we are wrong, yet now you are seeing al of a sudden that things aren't as rosy and are trying to distance yourself and separate your criticism from ours.

As much as you don't like it, you are in the club. Late than never, but you are in regardless. I love the fact you deem your criticism as realism and anyone else's as ''WUM'' or stats based''.

Sorry pal, doesn't work like that.

Some pitiful posting here I’m afraid.
Posts that divide. Dear God. Now we are all supposed to feel the same.
I ll leave Lifelong out of this as it’s all been said before.

It is like this.

People like things,people don’t .

On net, it is easy to infer someone has mental illness as Lifelong has done.

If you think mental health is ok to use as an insult then ,there ya go.

Nothing wrong with posters having different views. If you put the few posters you feel are WUM's or whose posts continually wind you up on ignore I find that it makes interacting with the vast majority of posters much more enjoyable.

Dob.For some ,it is.
For many it is all about being and supporting the manager, which is fine by me,but surely to God,when kids like Whittaker and Joseph are being treated as they are then surely we can comment thus.

If people want posters to append the same then what is the point of a forum at all. Without disparate views,a forum is dead.

Nobody sever use a fan forum to look for friendship and then be afraid to upset said friends for what they post.

I am simply very worried about Martin and what he is doing.

I encourage you to stay. You are a positive poster. I criticised you in good faith regarding promoting betting. This seem to me to be and inside job but I was assured you were a regular poster. Your words were a little loose. Remember the club is now anti betting. There is even an anti betting on the Trust board. You should not take that personally.

These forums can be taken over by vested interests and obsessive people with an axe to grind. I am personally appalled the fans have voted to go to court against the clubs owners and part sellers of Swansea city shares. One is sponsoring the stadium.

Interestingly that stadium sponsorship only came well after court proceedings were initiated....

That's truly awful, I don't visit the other site very often, not because I dislike those that post there, most are excellent posters (although like this site, they do have a few knobs) I just think it's an awfully laid out format, this site is much nicer IMHO.

Maybe those posting sh*te about you should be named and shamed.

100% this.
Social media has a lot to answer for, I don't use Twitter and I've no intention of doing so, I got a Facebook account, but I post nothing about myself or family on there, others seem to live their lives through both, each to their own.

You want to see some of these cowards post on Twitter about me, it’s hilarious.
And yes, some of it comes from two posters on Phil’s site, well, should I say current posters. For now.

I find it easier to let it go over your head, Poisonous people are everywhere, and I’ve learned a lot about that since I took over the site to support my daughter who is dying from brain cancer. But still the hate continues, despite appeals to the contrary, that’s how cowardly and hateful they are. But everything goes around and comes around, that much I do know 👍

Heartfelt regards to you, your family and especially to your Daughter Keith.

I was explaining to Thrasher that these sites sometimes have vested interest. SCFC2 banned me after complaints from people with certain narratives. I did not break any rules but was banned by popular demand. Welcome to South Wales.

I obviously contested the narrative too well. The owner was a wimp and crumbled under pressure not like the owner of this broad church forum which allows free speech.

And that (rather fanciful sounding) story has nothing to do with the court case nor the stadium sponsorship.

I do find it ironic when you accuse others of having a vested interest though.

Have to appreciate the irony of how it is written though.
Just makes it laughable.

Thrasher mate.
Just ignore certain posters on any sites.
Some people couldn't be balanced if they stood in the absolute middle of a see saw

It's great just reading people who can balance an argument and then try and see our team from someone else's perspective.
Makes me examine certain players/ managers with a more open mind when I'm watching us.

As long as everyone gets behind the team when we're playing, I'm ok with that
Those who are on any site when we're playing and giving us (for not singing), the team (for mistakes) or managers (for the weather,) sh1te are so painfully obviously not Swans fans, you have to feel sorry for them, as they don't have any other sort of life.

Just smile.
Oh and ignore some people.
They're the reason I can't be arzed to post much anymore at all.
On any site!!

You find it ironic based on a fake concept. That concept is that I have a vested interest and am friendly with the Swansea business big shots and Americans. You cannot understand how someone impartial with my views cannot agree with you. People of a political persuasion often think like this.

I do not know any US national or any Swansea business people.

Swansea run by a fans committee will be competing with Exeter city in league 2 in the 'people's derby'. Englishman Stuart James would do a gushing special Guardian Sunday supplement and talk about the vegetarian sandwiches and Martin being a vegan and what lovely humble people there are in Swansea. Yuk.

No I cannot fathom how someone can be so slanted repeatedly and on every aspect of the situation. It's just natural.

You recently stated you know Silverstein.

The last paragraph is just bizarre. Who's mentioned any 'fans committee' running the club? What relevance is Stuart James's nationality?

And again, what relevance does this have to the thread? None, just another attempt to spread propaganda.

I was explaining to Thrasher that he will be subjected to anti US ownership propaganda on the other site and especially SCFC2 where carefully crafted alternative arguments and criticisms of certain parties are not allowed, in a truly anti democratic culture of mono narratives. He is better off on Keith's site for all it's odd characters. (for all that they have a certain dogged dark charm).

I do not know Silverstein or any US national at all for the umpteeth time. Stuart James presumably in part loves Swansea city because it is fan owned and fits with his particular political slant. Bravo to him. He was not brought up as a Swansea fan if I am not mistaken.

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/

In the above thread Silverstein explains he intends to spend more time in Swansea "hands on". Since then he has sold his stake in Houston Dynamo and made at least two visits to Swansea. It is reasonable to suggest he played an active part in the appointments of Martin and Allen.

And he's being subjected to pro American propaganda on this site from you. Again this is your personal victim complex issue with someone. Nothing to do with the thread itself.

I'm just quoting you. You said that.

Not sure why journalists must support the club they report on or be from the area. In fact it's probably better, less bias.

So again you're taking his prior words of him 'being hands on' despite there being no evidence of such. Unless I'm mistaken? So he's sold a stake and bought a stake elsewhere though - so how's that freeing time up? Is it reasonable? What knowledge does he have of league 1 or the academy system of clubs in England?

There’s one or two here who may enjoy this in the week then ?
From today’s supplement -
This last week we have had some very open dialogue in the USA regards Swansea City, and once we get that formatted, and do our due diligence on the information - and gauge responses we will run a feature on the club as it stands today. We think you will enjoy the insight we have gained through certain individuals trust in us as a news medium for Swansea City. So, that’s something to look forward to.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Yes, you really care about others mental health when you encourage somebody to go down to Rhosilli and jump off the cliffs, also you openly admit on here that when you were a Police Officer you were out with others fully kitted up and could be smacking heads until 7am.
