| Swansea City v Coventry City : Matchday Thread AFTERMATH 18:08 - Mar 2 with 10421 views | NotLoyal | It’s the big game of the day in Swansea that’s for sure. Many other championship clubs will also be playing big games as well. In their own towns at least. Mark Robins who once played with Bobby Charlton’s old team wants to go to the premier league. He is making a good go of it. Better than Batman who he also played with. Coventry City are on a mission for play off points at Swansea 3rd Mar 2022 09:00Saturdays Championship battle between Swansea City and Coventry City see’s two sides in similar form. Both have won three out of their last five games, Coventry losing once and the swans losing twice. Coventry visit SA1 in tenth place with a superior goals scored and goals conceded record this season, plus they are ten points ahead of their rivals. 0 Nathanael Getting Ogbeta 3rd Mar 2022 15:59See what we did there ? New swans signing Nathanael Ogbeta is back in light training after five weeks of disappointment rehabilitating from a hamstring pull. After ten minutes of his first Swansea training session he broke down and hasn’t been able to join in any physical team activity. However, the added value for Nathanael has been gaining an understanding of the Russell Martin way when it comes to training his Swansea players, both mentally and physically. 0 The key factors to a successful Swansea City Saturday 5th Mar 2022 07:21Today’s game against Coventry City is a winnable proposition for Russell Martin’s side. Yes there has to be that click that we all saw last Monday night at the Hawthorns, and it most certainly comes down to numerous key Swansea components coming together. And by that we mean the positivity of certain players to bring about attacking football. 0 Russell Martin demands the same again from Swansea City 5th Mar 2022 13:00This afternoons game from the swansea.com stadium has become something of a defining moment for Russell Martin this week. Not only does he want to see another top performance at home, after three months of poor form it will show clearly his ability to turn around and get his team going again. 0 Swansea City: Andy Fisher; Ben Cabango, Kyle Naughton, Ryan Manning; Flynn Downes, Matt Grimes (captain), Korey Smith, Cyrus Christie; Joel Piroe, Jamie Paterson; Michael Obafemi. Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Jay Fulton, Olivier Ntcham, Kyle Joseph, Joel Latibeaudiere, Finley Burns, Cameron Congreve. Coventry City: Simon Moore, Jake Clarke-Salter, Michael Rose, Kyle McFadzean (captain), Jamie Allen, Ben Sheaf, Viktor Gyokeres, Ian Maatsen, Todd Kane, Jake Bidwell, Gustavo Hamer. Substitutes: Ben Wilson, Jodi Jones, Martyn Waghorn, Josh Reid, Matty Godden, Fabio Tavares, Ryan Howley. Obafemi ‘Scores some goals for Swansea’ in another three goal home win 5th Mar 2022 17:30Swansea City again turned on the style to make it five goals in two games with Michael Obafemi shining in front of goal yet again. Okay, let’s make it sound better, that’s eight goals in three games for the swans. We have to put that Sheffield United game to the back of our minds. To see Swansea dominate a first half so calmly and to score two goals from well created chances will please supporters of the Jacks. Coventry haven’t won in Swansea since 1960, and that trend has continued. 0

This is the pincer movement. I state a viewpoint that Builth doesnt like and then STID joins in .Normally Lifelong would be around followed by Winston to chuck in some barbs. These are our supposed fans. These are our people Look at the state we're in And no ,the crowd did not make a lot of noise.

| Swansea City v Coventry City : Matchday Thread on 21:21 - Mar 5 by Chief | We're absolutely safe now, no question about it. No extra prize money for finishing 11th compared to 15th. Why not make a commitment that a previously unused (not Cabango for example) academy product has minutes in every game from now on in? Just an idea |
Would be nice after Tuesday to try and blood some of the youngsters ready for next season

| Swansea City v Coventry City : Matchday Thread AFTERMATH on 11:47 - Mar 6 with 979 views | sw02sea | As they say…”it’s a funny old game” and football’s all about opinions, but just seen this on a Coventry forum –> The Philosopher said: I know I keep going on but loyal old Cyrus Christie seemed determined that we get something out of the game today. Tavares would have had Him on toast cutting in from his side. “I know”, says Robins. “Let’s put a nippy trickster on who has a spring in his step from scoring recently. Waggers!” Ady needs to give him another shove. Click to expand... Depressing to see Cyrus, part of our worst ever team, beat us so comfortably. Awful footballer. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Chucking in youngsters against the best team in the Championship, isn't the best way forward for those youngsters or for the spirt/moral of squad, in my opinion of course.

It's become more about posters being right than Swansea winning for some. Amazing how many pages there are on a match day thread during the game when we are losing, the threads when we are winning are noticeably seeing less posts when the match is being played. Comes down to fans obviously enjoying having a knock more than they would giving a bit of praise......that can tell you alot about people and the life they live.

there is less posting when we are winning as fans are happy unlike last season where win lose or draw many fans were posting about the manager . we have lost many times this season at times the fooball hss been painful to watch many posters including myself during such games have been vocal but when we play and win like yesterday there is less to be critical and vocal about. You ask me to give it a rest that's fine. Just two things to ask of you 1 - Try not to be so negative, especially when we win ? 2 - Cut the crap like "he owns you completely as I do" See you at Blackpool So what is your prediction for Tuesday ?

but you cannot argue with facts .... first goal came from neat quick triangles moving fowarwards second goal..long ball out from Fisher then 2touches from Downes before Obafemi put it away and the third a slide rule pass from Grimes into space for Obafemi to run onto and put away. previously Grimes would have turned and passed it back or sideways.....there is a shift in tactics and playing style [Post edited 6 Mar 2022 17:33]

You seem to have had a heavy night. No problem. Frankly,a win is a win and the personality culture on here is getting tedious. What we haven't had ,funnily enough,is a Rugby -Football spat about what is the national game. Still, suppose this fills our empty lives where we view and grade people and indeed make life assumptions of them via messages on an internet fans forum. If they aint madness ,what is.

The first goal we got in between the lines to be able to get in behind with short sharp passes. The second one was created by the ball playing keeper that Martin wanted. The 3rd one was just a through ball onto a willing runner but the main thing was Grimes had faced up to Coventrys goal in an attacking area BUT the space was there for Obefami to run into. None of the goals had anything to do with change in style, arguably the first 2 were down to how Martin wants his team to play.
