They never do, it’s always been a tactic of theirs. Not sure if you notice but they don’t bother trying with me anymore as I always insist they show proof of what they are talking about - they never do. I was once called racist because I said Marcus Rashfords penalty was crap. I kid you not. But the tactic of the left is to plant a seed, or insinuate and let people fill in the blanks where they can create their own reality. I suggested to Keith anyone who does that should back their claims or be met with an instant ban. Faking racism is just as bad as creating it in my opinion, they both use race to spread disharmony.

| Rwanda flight on 11:38 - Jun 15 by felixstowe_jack | Because internation conventions say genuine asylum seekers should seek asylum in the first safe country they reach. Makes you wonder how many safe EU countries they pass through before they reach France. |
No it doesn't. There's nothing to say they have to stay in the first country

| Rwanda flight on 00:37 - Jun 15 by Dr_Parnassus | It's very difficult. Even more difficult when lefties start shouting ''racist!'' every time it's addressed. It's a serious economic issue with major consequences for not tackling it. When Trump was talking about the border wall (Mexico also has it's own wall to keep illegal immigrants out from Guatemala), he was called all the names under the sun. Even to this day when someone says ''Trump is racist!'' and you ask why... they will still come back with ''Well... ummm... you know, the wall and everything''. Until people can stop obsessing over race then it is a very difficult topic to address. The issue is economic not racial. |
Do you think the thirst for deportation would have been the same in it was Ukrainians on that flight?

You are as thick as two short planks. You are supposed to apply for asylum in the first country you land in. France is a safe prosperous country and that is where they should stay.

If we did, that would make us ppl smugglers France has taken 4 times more than we have. Why should France take all the burden and we get way with it. We are stuck with this problem. There is nothing we can do about it |
Yes there is something we can do about it. How about sending them to Rwanda ? Have you been asleep for the last month or so 😂

Now that would be some scenario the U.K being swamped by boat load upon boat load of foreign dentists trained to BDS standard carrying passports/documentation helpful to Disclosure and Barring Service. Give it ten years and an NHS dentist practice in the U.K will be as rare as a Panda in captivity!

This has been explained in here many times. The 1951 Refugee Convention is the key legal document that defines the term ‘refugee’ and outlines their rights, as well as the legal obligations of states to protect them. It contains no obligation “either explicit or implicit” for refugees to claim asylum in the first safe country they reach, according to immigration lawyer Colin Yeo. Full fact says: "This means that an asylum seeker can arrive in France (or any other country) before travelling to the UK and still legitimately claim to be a refugee. "It is then down to the UK to review that application."

What a load of nonsense. They are safe in France, stay there or go to Rwanda. This little country has a population fast approaching 70,000,000. It’s full.

It was tongue in cheek as you probably realised but, these jobs need filling, whether it's cleaners, drivers, fruit pickers, whatever. Too many people in this country happy to sit back , claim benefits and contribute zero. A family member was having a suspected heart attack 2vweeks ago, 999 advised an ambulance would be about 6 hrs , chucked them in a car and drove, ended up having a quadruple bypass and would have died with the 6hr wait. How on earth has it come to this and how is it allowed to continue.

A relative of mine, her friend lost her father this year when it took over six hours for an ambulance to arrive when he had an heart attack. sadly he died an hour before it arrived, It's shocking!

That's shocking, I have no idea how it's allowed to continue, why aren't the press and media all over it, its tantamount to manslaughter, and the authorities should be held accountable, but for some bizarre reason they don't seem to be and its getting worse and worse. Why is Wales so far behind the rest of the UK with ambulance and hospital appointment waiting times, it's a disgrace and any politician overseeing this performance should stand down in disgrace, but we know they won't.

It' a case now of having to 'gamble' on what is someone's best chance of survival? Stay at home and wait not knowing when an ambulance will arrive and hoping it will arrive in time or go to casualty and maybe have to wait hours there also. The times we all live in!

That is awful, but sadly not unusual these days. But at least Drakeford is going to eliminate HIV and racism by 2030, lets hope he can sort the ambulance response time well before that.

I had a work mate who was in incredible pain, went to A&E, they told him to come back in the morning because the queues were so bad so he did. Died of sepsis overnight.
